It would’ve been great. Had the pool room not been overpowered with chlorine and it was just too hot to have a heated pool.

I loved the breakfast. I also loved the pool. The staff was very friendly

Price was nice. Hotel seems to be falling apart, several things are not working, broken, covered up. Pool has no supervision kids do whatever..Overhead fan in the bathroom completely worthless. Free breakfast is boring .Do better.

The room was very clean. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The breakfast wasn’t 5 star quality, however it was fresh and plentiful, and the sweet lady there made sure it was always full. She greeted everyone with a smile. I honestly cannot say enough about the staff. Each person we met was super friendly and helpful. Our only complaint, which wasn’t even the hotels fault, was that small children ran up and down the hallways at all hours of the night UNATTENDED. 2 small boys, 4 or 5 at best, wearing water wings, ran back and forth from the pool, up the elevator alone, down the hall to their room. They woke us up multiple times in the middle of the night while running and yelling in the hallway. I understand vacation is an exciting time, however they were too young to be unattended like that. I debated on calling the front desk but decided to leave it alone.

We were there 3 nights/ no housekeeper showed even though we called on day two. Ice machine on floor was out of order and seemed like the sign had been up awhile. When I wandered around looking for another machine, I passed a number of couches and chairs sitting in front of rooms that looked worse than what one would see sitting on the side of the road waiting for the trash man. Had to set a/c at 64F for it to feel cool. Many of the hallway a/c’s were unplugged. Breakfast wasn’t bad but it was over by 9:30. Scrambled eggs, sausage patties, biscuits, soggy doughnuts, coffee no tea, water, orange juice, oranges and apples. In its day it was probably a gem with an indoor pool with slide but it really needs to increase staffing and do some maintenance.

I know this hotel wasn’t expensive or anything but we stayed for three nights and they didn’t clean our room at all. They didn’t even make the beds or take out the trash. I’ve never experienced that at a hotel before.

Room was clean but the bathroom door was rotten at the bottom and the door frame was rotted at the bottom. Breakfast is ok, eggs biscuits sausage gravy doughnuts oj and coffee

Property in need of updating all around. beds are the worst, as they squeaked with every movement.

My only complaint is that I booked a standard queen room and the description says it sleeps 3. It doesn’t. There is one queen bed and a small loveseat type sofa. It does not make into a bed. I had to pay extra to get a rollaway bed once we arrived. I booked a room that says sleeps 3 and was penalized for the hotels misleading room description.

We really enjoyed our stay at Grand Smokies Lodge Resort! The room was nice and clean, the price was affordable, and the location was perfect. It was close to everything we wanted to do in Pigeon Forge, which made our trip so much easier and more enjoyable. We would definitely recommend this resort to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay!

We enjoyed our stay. The only thing we didn’t enjoy was the lady trying to sell us a timeshare in the hotel lobby.

For what it is honestly not a bad spot it's next to everthing else you need

The room was nice, although the carpet appeared very soiled. The pool with slide was very nice. The breakfast was not very good. Even though it’s classified as a buffet breakfast, it was eggs and sausage patties, biscuits, gravy, donuts and fruit. Not very tasty, maybe just a very small step up from regular motel type breakfast, without the waffle makers, cereal and yogurt. Frankly, not worth waking up early for it!
