Vista Suites of Pigeon Forge

Our stay at Vista Suites of Pigeon Forge was extremely disappointing from the moment we checked in. The first room had a toilet that overflowed, sending water all over the bathroom floor. The bathroom was already dirty, making the situation even worse. I immediately reported the issue to the front desk. The employee said she needed to come see it, but no one ever came. After being away for a while, I asked if the problem had been cleaned up or repaired. Instead of addressing the issue, I was handed a plunger and expected to fix it myself. We requested another room. The second room was also dirty and unacceptable. When I expressed my concerns, the employee actually asked, “What kind of room do you expect?” My answer was simple: a clean room with a working toilet. I asked to see a third room before accepting it, but was told no. The employee returned holding a dirty rag, which did nothing to reassure us that the room would be clean. At that point, we decided it was best to leave rather than spend the night in those conditions. If you’re planning a trip to Pigeon Forge, I recommend reading recent reviews carefully and considering other hotels. Cleanliness, working facilities, and customer service are basic expectations when paying for a hotel room. Unfortunately, we did not experience any of those.

Trash littered the halls, the pools were bad, the outside pool was off limits and green, hot tub didn't work, continental breakfast was a joke. Hardly anything to pick from. Staff yelled at a guest just for spraying "too much butter spray on the waffle maker", and that was literally one of the only options they had to eat. Nothing fresh, no protein, a couple pieces of bread, a couple bagels, cereal and no milk, no yogurt, no fruit, hardly any cheap eggs. Staff even posted a new sign that if you take food from buffet up to your room you would be charged extra... even though they were playing a video of eating bugs on the big screen in the buffet area. The room itself was ok as long as you understand it's an inexpensive room for a night or two.

Stains on the sheets og the beds looks like lip stick. Air conditioner did not work great. Killed a roach in the bathroom. Staff was helpfull but did walk into a room that was already booked. Im happy he was with me to check the room. That could have been real bad. Pool was green and had frogs in it.

The outside pool was not open

Upon check in the lady at desk didn't know how to check us in. The room smelled bad and there was mold on walls. The hot tub was cold and the water was cloudy and smelled so bad. The pool was the same the outdoor pool wasn't as dirty as the inside but it was also not clean. In general it was disgusting. We left within 30 mins of check in and went to another hotel . We were told we had to get our refund to thru hotels.com and hotels com said the owner refused a flrefund and lied and said that we had a change in plans. That is not even true. I will be calling the health department cause that water I guarantee test for all kinds of bacteria. We will be going to the bank with pictures and the messages from hotel com showing he refused a refund and we will be disputing the changes as it was a so nasty we couldn't stay and we paid. There was at least one other family leaving when we left cause it was so gross as well. I can't believe people actually book that hotel and stay. I feel sorry for others who can't afford to leave like we did cause we have a baby and I refuse to let her get ill cause unsafe conditions at a hotel.

Staff was never there outdoor pool was closed

We ended up leaving after 2 hrs. The room was hot and dirty. Food behind night stand and sheets stained. AC not working. Outdoor pool dark green. Indoor pool murky and smelled like rotten eggs. Hot tub not working. Our bathtub faucet leaked. Front desk was not sympathetic and still haven't gotten any response on a refund. 4 days later.

Was a nice hotel at one point. not maintained. Amenities were either closed for repair or not as advertised. cockroaches in room climbing the walls in room. Toilet didn't work, and ac not functioning, stains on curtains and bedding. They moved us to another room the next morning when staff . someone carved symbols into TV with a knife and the smoke alarm batteries were removed but it was cleaner. Breakfast wasn't started til 8:30 when staff showed up on Saturday. Eggs Biscuit and gravy served in filthy crock pot. Pool was bright green with trash in it Friday. Saturday pool was closed. The inside pool was Good but the hot tub was closed for cleaning. Gym stayed closed the entire stay. TV only had 5 chanel's ( not as advertised). I give anyone the benefit of doubt but Try to talk to any staff about anything and they start with "no refunds". there are paper signs everywhere that say no refunds. I wasn't looking for a refund. staff seem to be aware of these issues and unable to do anything about it. What they Claim to offer and what you get are not the same.

The owner was very friendly. And helped us every way he could The owner was busting his butt making sure everything was good for everyone

The beds were harder than I like, but other than that ill stay again.

It was just ok.. The breakfast was not what was advertised. It was late every morning. The air conditioner half worked, there were leakes everywhere. The toilet had feces all over it still when we checked in. There was roaches in the cabinets.

Location and staff man was very nice. The outside pool was closed but that was because of bad weather. The hotel rooms just needed a little TLC

No hot water in the room told the staff and they just argued saying nothing is wrong with it found a broken fingernail in the sheets the ac barley worked internet and tv would go in and out

Staff was nice -Our toilet leaked the whole time, had to cut the water off and on every time you flushed.. -No trash can, we did find our trash can on the way to check out wayyy up under the sink with no trash bag the bottom of the can had about 1 inch of disgusting black water..probably catching water from the sink we found it under -Was told breakfast at 7am..came down at 7:30, no breakfast made yet, guests sitting at the tables with nothing like they're waiting on food.. came back at 8 still nothing..8:30 i come down and they're putting everything up like breakfast was over..I only saw 1 pan of eggs getting took back, nothing stocked at all I literally had 1 bowl of dry Cheerios the whole stay.. they were even putting up the waffle supplies and cooking utensils while some guys waffle was still trying to cook..I bet he didn't even get syrup -Pools need to bed tended to..hot tub was barely hot plus about an inch of crystals in the bottom of the hot tub and on the seats.. we was at the pool at total of 5 minutes.. another guest told us the pool was contaminated when We stayed here about 3 years ago and was pleased but clearly has went to hell since then.. but the staff at the desk at night was great!
