River Place Inn

For us it was the location to watch 4th of July fireworks. Room was clean

Close to everything. Could catch a trolley right on the corner. Price I also loved the dark shade no light . I wish there was a Continental breakfast.

The goose right on the river. Staff friendly. Clean comfortable rooms People living in both of the buildings. That has always been an issue and seeing the police activity was enough to tell exactly why.

Great value. Clean facility. Enjoyed the pool and the back porch by the river. The employees were very nice and helpful. The air-conditioner did very well in the heat. There was no blanket on the bed only a sheet and a silk thin bedspread. The tub dripped a steady stream but it was still fine as the value was great.

The location was the only good thing It was so dirty, the staff couldn't speak English and couldn't communicate when I told them the issues. There was food left in my freezer. The bed sheets were dirty and the pool was closed the whole time.

I love that it is in the middle of everything, the staff is so friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and quiet. I always book my vacation here because of the excellent staff and pricing. Internet is a little slow.

We always stay here on vacation. Mario and his staff make you feel so welcomed.

The pool was green

I like the River view and being able to sit on the deck.

Absolutely nothing. Did not go inside. I was afraid my car would be gone if I left it for more than 30 seconds. It looked dirty and run down. People were just hanging around like they were looking for trouble or opportunities to be bad. The place looked like a prison yard. People were openly smoking weed right outside the office doors with a dog that did not look friendly. I wish that there was a negative button for this review. It reminded me of that place people go when they have been refused entry everywhere else.

Looking at the ducks and geese. That is all we liked about the hotel. Would not recommend. Ceilings were peeling, parking was horrible, Table and chairs on the patio were filthy. TV was not very user friendly.

The river view We were in 1 room and the lost power to over half the room and then had to move rooms at 12:00pm the next day and when we asked for a late check out we had to pay $10 dollars an hour for every hour we were there after 11:00am

Nothing. The staff were rude, and did not care AT ALL. Any time questions were asked they acted as if it was inconvenient, if asked for help or any problems were brought up they were ignored or down played. The WiFi was said to be good and fast pace instead it didn’t work at at in room 114, so we tried to use cable except their cable didn’t work AT ALL either when we brought this to staff attention he brushed us off and told is “it doesn’t work sometimes try again later” so we did, and of course it didn’t work again and when we brought it up to him again he begrudgingly told us we could try another room the room next to us worked fine we moved to that room. Still all the rooms were disgusting, the curtains barely shut, the mini fridge barely functioned. The water in the shower head barely came out, the tub constantly clogged up. This was a week long stay of pure annoyance and stress. There were roaches in the bathroom as well as flies every where. But I think the worst thing that pushed me to write this was when we finally left that hell hole, we made sure everything was cleaned. There was no trash left, no staines on the blankets or any of their towels (we used our own towels and blankets) we left 20 minutes before the check out time cut off, we returned both key cards etc. But only 10 minutes after leaving they took out an extra $50, no explanation or reasoning for it. We still have no idea what could’ve been $50 or why they would take it out for any reason. Not only that but when we got to our new home, (we moved out state hence the motel stay) we were unpacking our things to my horror, my child hood stuff animal that has brought me so much comfort through everything and has helped me with my sleep troubles plus a whole bunch of other things was missing. We went through box after box and bag after bag but he was no where to be found.

That it had a jacuzzi and it worked There was nothing I disliked

It was very nice and nice view of the river Nothing other then the floors could have been mopped and not so dirty. Other then that we loved it

everything wifi is spotty

It was a decent, clean place to stay. Everything worked. It was a good value for the area for sure. Nothing really. It was as expected.

Repeat traveler, always stay here when in town as it’s affordable and convenient! Pool was clean and open and staff were friendly as always!
