The Inn On The River

We had a wonderful stay during our Smoky Mountains trip. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and in a very convenient location. The room was well maintained, and we had everything we needed for a relaxing stay after spending the day exploring the Smoky Mountains. The staff was friendly, helpful, and welcoming throughout our visit. Overall, we had a very pleasant experience and would definitely consider staying here again. Highly recommended for families visiting the Smoky Mountains!

We loved the free coffee all day and the popcorn and drinks in the evening hours. The river was a great bonus, with lots of chairs/rocking chairs to sit and enjoy it and the wildlife. The staff was helpful and courteous. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because the room didn't get vacuumed very well. It also had a slightly musty smell, which might be due to the moisture from the river. We probably will return though!

The property was in a good location although expect to have to make a u-turn here or there. We took the city transit from right in front of the hotel for a dollar to the main transit station. Then bought an all-day pass for $3 and used that to get back to the hotel. From the transit station you can get to Dollywood fairly easily. The room was very basic and the ac worked perfectly. The breakfast was better than average.

Cute room and conveniently located on Parkway close to everything and a quick ride to Gatlinburg. Had a room with a patio overlooking the river with duck visits daily - lol. Easy check in and check out. There was a breakfast but we did not partake in it although it did smell good. Free parking in their lot was definitely a plus.

Staff was wonderful, paid excellent attention to every detail from check in to check out. Communication was over the top. Ive never had so much communication at any other stay. Cons- the bedding is super firm, very supportive( not my favorite). Free breakfast was wonderful, so much to choice from and filling. Definitely will stay here again!

The only complaint is the room we were in felt damp. It had been a rainy weekend, so maybe that is why.

While the room and bathroom look very spacious in the photos, it is just a visual impression—the bathroom is actually quite small. I didn't request a room change because I arrived exhausted and we just wanted to shower, sleep, and hit the road again the next day. The hotel itself is small and cozy. I believe that if these cleanliness issues are addressed, it would be a wonderful place to stay.

The room was clean, spacious, the staff was helpful and attentive. Breakfast was good, staff were constantly cleaning and refilling.

Would stay again . Rooms clean , great breakfast more than any hotel we have ever stayed at . Two pools granddaughter got to enjoy one of them . The view out back was beautiful.

Staff was very helpful. The property is clean and welcoming. There is a duck feeding area and firepit overlooking the stream that we enjoyed. Breakfast was decent, lots of options.

Customer service was great. Hard working cleaners, breakfast staff! Amazing experience.

Very clean hotel and excellent breakfast. The entry way I felt was unique with the lounge area and fire place. Absolutely loved sitting next to the river.

Ice cold a/c, super friendly staff and conveniently located rooms. Recommend!

The ombiunce of the riverfront was so relaxing. You could sit outside and enjoy the view or sit in a partially enclosed area to enjoy the view. You can walk to places instead of driving in the crazy traffic. Or take the trolley located just outside the hotel.
