Timbers Lodge

The room was clean and was a pet friendly room. We have a small Morkie and he goes where ever we go so this was a plus for us. The motel is conveniently located near the Island and so many more great places to dine and to shop,

Room and property was poorly maintained. We’ve stayed here years prior and it was great. Now it’s pretty bad.

The bed was the hardest I have ever slept on and there was some areas on the walls that could be mold. I understand it is a wooden building but it has seen its better days. Definitely needs renovated.

The hotel itself just could use some deep cleaning and simple renovations- though might raise price. But mainly I feel a little extra attention to cleanliness would greatly improve this place overall. We liked the loft room that sleeps six- even had two bathrooms!

Location The rooms beds had bed bugs which we have pictures and video proofing we are telling the truth. The owner did not give us money back nor either another room instead the only options were to leave and find another motel. This is so heartbreaking for me and my family because we had to use our spending money on another motel instead of having fun. We are so upset and hurt over this whole situation. We would like our money back. How would you feel the very first night being a your motel and trying to sleep and bedbugs are on the sheets. Your kids are so scared and this was suppose to be a fun time. The owners are so rude and it was very sad how they treated us. I want our money back. $661.00 FOR 3 DAYS PLEASE

Location and lots of room space

The size of the room for my family, and being able to have our small dog with us in the room. Needed a place to stay for one more night before heading home to Michigan. Staff was nice upon check-in but then lied to other staff the next day about what was told to us in regards to late check out. It was terribly unprofessional. Old out dated furniture, dirty floors, dusty under and behind all furniture broken equipment headboards, dressers, and other equipment all throughout the room. Our key cards wouldn't work, and they tried to get them to work multiple times & couldn't until the next morning when we were leaving, so we couldn't go anywhere all night. The phone in our room didn't work, and anytime we would call the front desk from our cell, they would request we come up front from the very back of the motel in the evening. Very inconvenient, not to mention dangerous with 2 children. It was an awful experience for over $269. I would never recommend this place to anyone visiting Pigeon Forge which is sad because the property has nice size rooms and the potential to be a nice property with the proper Housekeeping, Maintenance, and Front Office Staff, Management Training. I worked in hotels for over 20+ years and could never imagine providing the type of service and hospitality we received at Timber Lodge to anyone.

Cute place to stay. Liked the loft style

The hotel was nice and in a great location. Pet friendly, and the staff was accommodating. The room was clean and was easily accessible to parking. We will book the hotel again in the future. The hotel is in need of some repair.
