Tru by Hilton Pigeon Forge, TN

The location of the property was very convenient. The pillows and bedding felt very cheap and uncomfortable. The room was poorly lit, making it feel dark and uninviting, and it did not appear to be very clean. Overall, the room did not meet my expectations for comfort or cleanliness.

Also, I booked online and it only allowed me to book one night. When I asked the staff if they could extend for another night at the same rate, they said no I would have to book another night online. This resulted in costing about $15.00 more than the first night.

Clean rooms and facilities. Good breakfast and loved the pools.

Everything was great except the last day one of the elevators was broke... but it worked out ok

No 24 hour gym. Just a sucky hotel. Staff were nice but not over involved. Nothing actually wrong with the place, just a cheap hotel. Rooms are small and bedding isnt super comfortable. If you dont mind these things then no worries.

That they could rent us a room, after the hotel we had booked through 3rd party was overbooked and didnt have room for us.

Breakfast was wonderful and the pool was clean and great! We had a confrontation with an employee behind the desk. He was young and rude. The other employee was very kind and apologized for the rude behavior of the co-worker, but he was very rude in front of my husband and children so my husband does not want to come back.

Location, pool No coffeemaker in room, no ice buckets, no microwave. Breakfast was not good. No options for meat.

It is now a name of a hotel we will look for on our other travels

Location was great! Close to Dollywood and the island! Pool was outstanding! Great for my 3yr old and 5yr old! Breakfast was one of the best hotel breakfast we’ve experienced!

I definetly recommend an early check in if your going in the summer

Hotel was very nice and clean, but thought it was closer to the Island, so that's misleading in their description, as it read it was walking distance. To far to walk.

Location cleanliness brightness The room was really small

The hotel room was small but clean. They needed an alarm clock and more countertops. The bath was clean but the shower leaked over 1/3 of the floor when in use. My husband mentioned the problem to the from desk and was told that it would be addressed but never was.

For the most part, it's a nice little hotel. It is clean and every staff member we encountered was extremely pleasant. The problems I had were the size of the room. It was a king room and it was tiny. No dressers, no closet. Fine for a day or two but for close to a full week, it felt tight and cluttered with no where to put our things. The wifi left a lot to be desired as well. The 5G was spotty due to mountains I suppose, or I wouldn't even use wifi. Phone kept dropping off the wifi constantly, it was killing my battery quickly constantly searching for it. It's not a problem I've ever had with this phone. Breakfast was ok, not much variety and the egg option always seemed overcooked and the meat option (sausage or bacon depending on the day) was always slightly undercooked. Again, not a bad stay, just a few little things that could have been better.
