Pacific Point Resort

Our ocean front king suite was just beautiful.Everything is brand new and so. The decorations and everything was so comfortable and pleasant. We contacted the hotel through booking dot com and asked if we could check in early and booking dot com said it was approved and we could check in at eleven but when we got there , we were told it would be a while because of this sold out rooms the night before , which we understand it does take a long time to clean all those rooms and have them approved. We had to figure out what to do for 5 hours. The weather was very warm.The days we were there and we had to go sit at a park and wait those five hours and it was very uncomfortable , especially for my husband.

Room was great and the view was amazing. Stunning views of the water. Water pressure was just okay, but the water was hot and the soaps and shampoo smelled great. Bed was comfortable and the flip flops and robes were a nice touch. Property has easy access to beach and near by hotels. We would stay here again for sure. Only downside was the fishy ocean smell, but you are literally on the cliffs above the ocean. Can’t smell it in the room with the slider closed and we were told by locals that isn’t always the case.

Everything - superb views and clean room and the staff are super friendly The breakfast was too sugary based food and not enough granola and fresh fruits

This was a wonderful trip shared with my significant other to celebrate my birthday. The pool is absolutely amazing and perfect temperature. The hot tub was nice. The rooms were lovely with a nice patio. We utilized the fire pits and the hotel has a gazebo near the property that sits on the top of the beach. It’s a great place to watch the sunrise and sunset.

Large rooms great restroom with lots of support handrails. Balcony with ocean views and walking areas on grounds. Nothing ,will come back.

Front desk staff was awesome

The room was clean, but after the first night we didn't want them to clean it. At 6:30 p.m., the cleaners came into the room... They took the deposit, for the second day now, they haven't returned it, although we left the room in excellent condition. I'll call them tomorrow, the smell near the hotel is terrible, it's impossible to open the window, the stench is terrible...

We stayed two nights and our room was not serviced during our stay with was disappointing. It was a good location and beds were comfortable.

The view was amazing we had ocean and pool view. No food other than breakfast

We had a wonderful stay. Our room was not ready when we were told and we got an upgrade to a suite over looking the ocean. What a blessing! It was our anniversary! Thank you Felicia ! We cant wait to come back next year.

My husband and I loved our stay at Pacific Point. We are telling all our friends that they have to go. The room was so beautiful with great decor. and updated and what a wonderful view. When I first walked out on my balcony, I saw whales spouting and I saw a few whale tails. What a sight! The resort even provides binoculars to see it all. The resort grounds were so nice to walk around, and at night I loved walking out to the light up gazebo and on the cliffs, there were pelicans everywhere. The staff was so friendly, and I can't wait to go back.

We checked in and were given a ground level room with a pool view. We booked and paid for a deluxe king room with an ocean view. We were told since we booked through a 3rd party that they did not have the room that we booked available. They were able to put us on the 3rd floor with a view of the pool and a partial view of the ocean. We still had to pay full price though. Then when I got into the room there was a clump of light brown human hair on the bedding. After I took a shower that evening, I pat my face dry with the towel. Came away with a light colored human hair on my mouth!!! We had a 4 month old baby with all her supplies, and using the elevator on the property is a nightmare. It barely fits 2 people, let alone a luggage cart to bring up your luggage. The whole property smells like dead fish and there is bird poop literally everywhere. They also put a family with a dog next to our room that was also an adjoining room to theirs. The dog would not stop barking and kept waking our baby up. I was under the impression there were pet friendly buildings, but was not aware that we would be placed in one. The view is not worth the money you have to spend! As a note we did not express our concerns to the front desk because there was so much we were unhappy with that it was already decided we would not be coming back to this hotel for our annual trip to Pismo.

The website where I booked the room made it seem as if there was a spa and there wasn't! I had to scramble and find a day spa for my wife's anniversary present. They charged for parking which should never happen. .did you expect me to park on the street?. We also woke up to a horde of ants crawling from the air conditioner, across the whole wall where the TV was, over the closet, to the garbage, which was on the opposite side of the room I told the lady at the front desk and she played it off like it was normal. Instead of putting extras like breakfast ( which I was under the impression was part of the package) in some obscure place on the site where you have to have a magnifying glass, add it in the cost of the room. While you're at it, do that with the parking as well. Stop nickel and diming people. However, the pool and hot tub was on point. The gum was ok. The overall stay left me wondering why I chose this place to stay for our anniversary. It will be a hard sell to get me to stay there again.
