Pismo Lighthouse Suites

Pacific Point Resort is comprised of two properties, formerly known as Pismo Lighthouse Suites and Shore Cliff Hotel . They were evidently renovated and combined into one very recently. We had booked a suite with two King bedrooms at the Pismo Suites. The suite to which we were assigned lacked a door on one of the bedrooms, so they moved us to one with two Queen bedrooms when we complained. They compensated us for the downgrade by waiving the parking fee and the resort fees. The staff was very helpful. The rooms were clean and the amenities provided were good. Each room in both suites had an attached full bath. There was a coffeemaker, microwave and teakettle in one room and a minifridge in both rooms. The large open area outdoors had plenty of seating and firepits, Ping Pong Table, Pickle Ball etc. The downside: 1. A barn door instead of a regular lockable door in one bedroom. 2. For Breakfast, which was included, we had to cross over a boardwalk to the Shore Cliff (a minus for ADA guests). 3. There is no access from either property to the beach. 4. There was inadequate staff backup at the front desk when a queue formed for check in or check out, and one staff member had to deal patiently with the long line of guests waiting to be served.

We had a fantastic stay. Family friendly, pet friendly. The renovations are great. The breakfast is at the adjoining hotel and can get busy, but it is a short walk and was well stocked. You have access to both hotel pools and beach access was within walking distance. We look forward to staying here again.

The property was very well maintained during our stay and the room service was always readily available. The beach access is not directly from the hotel, it is actually an access path that crosses adjacent properties. We were able to view the Fourth of July fireworks from our balcony with no trouble. It would have been nice of the hotel put on some kind of view party or event for the evening. Overall a very nice place with clean rooms, nice amenities and helpful staff.

The crowds

Our stay was amazing. We had a family suite for our family of six and had plenty of room. We enjoyed our stay using both pools and hot tubs, the new game area on the grass with Pickleball, cornhole, ping-pong, and much more. The staff was very helpful and always attentive. Our stay was fantastic and family had a lot of fun.

The suites were designed perfectly for the coastal vibe. Nice to have hook up for electric cars really well was convenient for one out guest. Galley was nice addition. Property is still making good changes. Will have some of our 1st time guest return.

Thought my two bedroom stay included a couch. It did not. They gave us a roll away bed and were incredibly kind about my misunderstanding. Their great service made the resort top notch. Highly recommend! Easy access to beach, pool and food.

Rooms and property were clean. Parking was super easy, also there were electric chargers for those that use EVs. The only thing we had an issue with was we had a first floor room and we can hear the walking of people upstairs. If you can get a higher floor it is probably better. When we were there lots of young families which was great for our kids to make friends and play with.

We loved the newly update rooms so clean and sheen! Pickle ball was a blast!!!

Beachside rooms were worth it

Coming from Arizona the weather was amazing and the rooms where so clean and big perfect for our vacation. Thank you for everything!

There was a little construction ion going on at the time but it did not interfere with our stay. Everything is new, fresh, nice! I would definitely stay again.
