Cambria Hotel Pittsburgh - Downtown

The room was clean and the staff was very friendly.

Our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. It had Great AC! There were just a few minor maintenance issues that kept it from being perfect. The bathroom exhaust fan wasn't working, so the room became extremely steamy and accumulated a lot of moisture, so we had to leave the door open when showering. The shower diverter knob also didn't work properly and you had to try it multiple times before it would engage and send water to the shower head. However, the water pressure was excellent when it worked! The only other inconvenience was that the room had just one very small bathroom garbage can (no others in the room) which made it difficult to dispose of trash during our stay. Overall, these were relatively minor issues, and we would stay here again because of the excellent location, comfortable accommodations, helpful staff, and great amenities.

The hotel staff did an excellent job handling the large amount of guests in town for a concert next door. Although the bar/restaurant was extremely busy before the concert, the wait staff did an amazing job taking care of everyone and their orders.

Also, I ordered a Diet Pepsi and it was flat — that’s all they had??? And, no bread except white??

Overall, the hotel was good. Quiet area. Staff and front lobby area was nice. I had booked two rooms. One room had a noisy refrigerator but other than that it was fine. Slept well. The other room’s bathroom was not as clean as it should have been. There were some hairs in the shower :(

Front desk staff VERY RUDE. Put extra charges on my card due to having out of town family come to visit. Made the little bit of time that I was there uncomfortable I checked out earlier than expected. Will NOT book hotel again.
