The restaurant Commander Valet service was slow- stated they didn’t receive our text for car though we received a confirmation. Had to wait a long time

Food is terrible. I had food poisoning from the pork chop that was served pink in the Commoner at dinner. It is common knowledge that pork must not be served rare. I suffered stomach upset the whole night. Other than this, the hotel is superb , and I would stay again, although I would not dine in the restaurant.

Great location with so much within walking distance. Enjoyed the rooftop Biergarten and music!

Beautifully designed. Loved the bird motif. It made it so enjoyable to find a nook and sit with coffee or a beer. The happy hour is excellent. Perfect location! Walkable to dinner and everything we wanted to see.

The staff is very friendly and helpful

Housekeeping and valet staff were wonderful. This is not a five star hotel. There was no bottled water in the room, no Nespresso or other coffee maker. There were robes, but no slippers. They did not do evening turndown and the bath towels were thin. After responding to a "how was your stay" email from Kimpton, their response was that I should have requested those things. I've stayed at many five star properties and at that price point, you don't have to request such things. They come to you and ask if you need anything. It is a great location. They need to step up their game. You can get the same service at most any IHG property for a third of the cost and you'll also get a free breakfast.

Very nice hotel. Staff was helpful, decor and ambience were second to none. The restaurant was also very cool. A great experience.

Exceptional

Everything was convenient, well maintained and clean. The restaurant and bar were good. The rooms were clean, comfortable and spacious.

This is a truly unique and interesting hotel with a fantastic location and a wonderful atmosphere. We especially enjoyed the excellent wine in the evening and the delicious coffee in the morning. A memorable and enjoyable stay!

The first time in this Hotel. It was very well taken care of and clean. The bed was very comfortable and I slept almost 8 hours. (Haven’t slept that long in a long time.) We had food from their restaurant which was really delicious, a little pricey but delicious. Parking with the assistance of their valet was super easy. The only complaint I have was that upon checking in we were not informed of the Happy Hour that was allegedly going to happen. Someone mentioned it to us later after we had already visited the bar. Would have been nice to know since none of the hotels seem to have guest books in the rooms anymore.

Absolute wonderful stay in a beautiful hotel. The only recommendation would be to have coffee available in the rooms.

Could not check into room until 4:40pm , which inconvenient since had dinner at 5:15 and concert at 7pm

The property was very clean and beautifully decorated. The aesthetic was wonderful and eclectic.

The staff was very hospitable and attentive. They made sure we had everything we needed. The team at this hotel clearly has set a high standard for their customer service, and every employee there was absolutely professional. They went above and beyond and exceeded our expectations. The rooms we booked were great; the beds and furniture were all very comfortable, bathrooms and rooms were clean. We stayed in a suite room that was more spacious than the pictures showed. We were very impressed with the hotel. we have zero complaints.
