When we arrived we had to wait 15 min to check in due to a computer system outage. Luckily our wait wasn’t too long but others had been there much longer. The hotel was nice with a great location to PPG paints arena. Only paid parking for $45 at the hotel or you could find a parking garage. The room was clean but did not have many amenities like mini fridge or even a trash can in the bedroom area, only a very small trash can in the bathroom. We did not use the shower so I cannot speak for that but it did not appear to be the cleanest.

No issues with the property itself but not the best interaction with front desk staff. Seemed very disinterested in answering questions.

Rooms were spotless, valet parking was straightforward (you’ll park before you register at the hotel), staff was welcoming and courteous. Great location - easy walk to PNC Park — and to other areas downtown. Would definitely stay there again.

Crystal went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. We checked in after an incredibly emotional day of dropping our son off at Duquesne University for his freshman year, and she immediately greeted us with kindness, compassion, and a genuine desire to help. She not only took care of all of our needs quickly and professionally, but she also made us feel welcomed and cared for during a difficult transition for our family. What impressed us even more was watching Crystal interact with another guest in the lobby. She showed the same patience, warmth, and kindness that she had shown us, making it clear that exceptional customer service is simply who she is. Crystal turned what had been a very emotional and challenging day into a positive experience for our family. Her compassion, professionalism, and genuine care did not go unnoticed, and we are incredibly grateful. She is a tremendous asset to your team, and we hope she receives the recognition she deserves.

Valet parking for 45 was a bit much but useful. Smallest bathroom I've ever encountered in a hotel. Overall clean and comfortable. No fan either in bathroom. Would definitely stay again though. Great location

Location was great, staff was excellent, building is old and needs a lot of work. The price does not justify facility.

Breakfast

The staff neglected to tell us parking was 45 dollars a day. They tell you they hold 150 for incidentals and charged us 135 for parking. There is no parking lot. Only their parking garage which is valet. They charged us as guest of the hotel. I’m very disappointed. I’ve stayed at doubletree all over the east coast. Mostly Florida. They have never charged us for parking onsite.

Great stay. Easy location. Will be back.

Guests in the room next door were having some issues pat midnight and the noise level was disturbing.

Great place to stay, clean, comfortable, helpful staff, great location very walkable. Very nice long weekend with the family went to a game and some museums and restaurants all within walking distance.

Lots of nice things to say about the hotel. Location was great. Staff were helpful. Parking garage was handy. Pool was nice!

We loved the proximity to the stadium for the concert. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful.

Shower was Luke warm, toilets didn’t flush right, sink dint drain properly.

The valet parking staff were wonderful and friendly. The same with the front desk staff. The mattresses in our room were awful! There were hollows that made it impossible to sleep well. I ended up sleeping across the bottom of the bed. Mattresses need to be rotated regularly and replaced as required. Arguably the worst night of sleep I’ve ever had in ANY hotel.

Room was clean

Unclean toilet bowl, showel gel not refilled, no slippers, washroom smaller than a printing room in office space, just not comfortable for the price we paid. And in the parking they said there's only valet parking but didnt mention the price of $45. Just a scam and cheap mentality from such a huge institution.
