Our shower light and ceiling started leaking water on the second night, as well. Likely from the shower/room above us, so the Engineering Team went to that room to inspect. My partner and I couldn’t wait around so we left for the bulk of the day and left our number with the front desk to let us know if the issue was resolved or if we were going to need to change rooms but we heard nothing during the 6 hours we were gone. When we returned, the front desk told us that the issue was resolved but it was not; the light and wall were still leaking water and we didn’t feel comfortable showering on our last morning, in case the ceiling came down. Upon checkout, they gave us each a free coffee voucher and said that they will “look into making changes to our bill for the inconveniences we experienced.”

Beautiful historic property. Lovingly appointed. Well located. We had a really large comfortable room at a very reasonable price. Nice restaurants and a really fun speakeasy. We had a great time.

We had a lovely stay. Our room was wonderful and having a second bathroom was a very appreciated surprise. Everyone was friendly and welcoming, also helpful. Loved the Tap Room and the bakery was definitely a plus.

  • Engine customer Jun 2026

The room was pretty clean but there was a set of used eyelashes on the bathroom floor. We loved the tap room for drinks and snacks but on a rainy night we tried to have dinner in the restaurant palm court and stood for awhile and then after we were sat, sat for awhile with out help. We walked around the corner to Capital Grill and had a great meal. There is no in room dining even though directions in the room tell you to dial zero. No one that answers the phone is helpful. Very weird- don't have a QR code or advertise in the room for in room dining if there's no in room dining. The front desk was very helpful and when we checked in and the coffee bar is absolutely amazing. Great service and really great coffee. We saw ladies having a beautiful High Tea and the sandwiches and pastries look yummy. I do recommend this property but maybe plan dinners out. Great location and great price.

We stayed one night and the hotel was great. Most of the staff were very kind some of the front desk staff definitely acted and looked like they did not like their job. Hotel is located in a great area very close to the train. Would stay there again

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! It was in a great location - we walked all over & never used an uber. We parked across the street in the garage - great price. If we return to Pittsburgh, we'll certainly consider staying again!
