Days Inn by Wyndham Pittsburgh

Very convenient location and within walking distance of dining. Parking was fine and the room was clean and comfortable. The hotel was decent lodging for those on a budget, but the property itself was dated but ok. I have stayed here numerous times when in Pittsburgh and decent value for the money and close to downtown (if have a car).

Water pressure horrible. Room not close to parking. But it was fine for one night.

We were in Room 130 and had friends staying in two other different rooms. Unlike those rooms ours had no thermostat to control the temperature of the room. We looked and looked and it was nowhere to be found. The air conditioning was on and it got quite cold. I reported it to the front desk and while the clerk was very nice he did not come to check as promised. Overall the room was clean and the bed was comfortable but if I stay here again I’ll request a room that is on the second level since those on the first level are below ground with small windows that are near the ceiling at ground level.

Room seemed as though it wasn’t ready for occupancy. Bedside lamp didn’t work— had to screw/unscrew the bulb to get it to turn on and off. There was an electric outlet without a cover/broken cover. The toilet paper holder was barely hanging on the wall. And the fire alarm was beeping as though the battery was going dead and when we reported it to the front desk we were told that there was nothing they could do until morning so we had to deal with that until all night.

HORRIBLE I THOUGHT IT WOUID HSVE BEEN BETTER OVERALL ESPECIALLY SINCE WYNDMM IS UNDER DAYS INN TO REPRESENT THEM. I immediately wanted to check out and stayed one night, $404 would been my price for a 3 day stay and it’s not even worth $4. I liked the location. I didn’t like seeing a window broken, caution tape 2 doors down from my room on the outside. It made me concerned to leave my room and come back in the evening. It was not the cleanest on the outside. The tv didn’t work. I didn’t like the smoking at the bottom of the steps, could smell in my room. Wish the smokers had a designated area.
