It was fine for the price. Nothing great.

The whole situation was a nightmare

Extremely unclean rooms. We had to switch our first room because there were streaks of blood on the toilet seat, white stains on the chair, juice spills all over the AC that weren't even wiped down, crumbs in the chair cushions, and some nasty residue in the tiles around the bathtub. The second room was only slightly better and still had chairs that weren't cleaned but we really didnt have any other hotel options we could resort to. The family that runs this seem super friendly and accommodating, but it's hard for that to make up for the quality of the rooms. The pictures online are extremely misleading and look nothing like the rooms. There were definitely some tweakers in the area and we witnessed an intense police sting operation with 7+ undercover cops to arrest another person on our floor. Overall, not a great experience in a neighborhood that already doesnt feel safe. Pay the extra money to go somewhere else.

Friendly and clean. My only complaint was that the room next door had loud commotion and fighting until 3 am and I had to call the front desk. Didn't get a good night sleep because of that. Friendly, clean room, reasonable

Room was clean. Easy to extend. Staff is great pool is clean and enjoyable

Room was clean, pool was clean, staff was very helpful. Deposit process is fast and simple.

I wouldn’t stay again. There is also an unexpected deposit that isn’t mentioned anywhere. There was a gentleman sitting on the luggage trolley because he didn’t have the money for the deposit even though his room was already paid for. The staff just left him there despite having paid for a room.

Nothing positive other than we checked out faster than in. There was a VERY young girl working the front. She was not helpful or very friendly. We checked in and went straight to the room. Floors dirty, dead bugs, dirt on sheets and stained. There was a broken bathroom window on floor level room that was not only busted it didn't latch. Packed our stuff at 10:30 at night and rolled. Was not offered another room and she told me I would have to talk to expedia about refund even though I paid her. We're there There less than 35 minutes. Its 2:25 and still haven't heard from manager as I was told I would get a call. Will file claim with CC. DO NOT STAY here.

Good for a one night girls trip

Called twice to inquire about early check in and was promised both times that the room would be ready by 12. The room was not ready until 1:00 which altered the course of our whole day. Room was decent for the cost, towels and sheets were worn and stained.

Facility needs some remodeling.

Room was clean. Check in was simple, check out was simple. Got my deposit back fast too! I’ll book again

After staying at this Days Inn, I will be contacting the Alleghany Board of Health. There were cockroaches, hair on our towels, the sinks wouldn't drain, the floors were dirty and sticky, the exits were all boarded up outside of one exit in the lobby, there were unsavory characters who were not guests lingering in the lobby, and the overall experience was akin to walking through a dirty NYC alley at 3am. Do not stay here at all costs.
