Hampton Inn Pittsburgh/Greentree

The staff were friendly and very helpful, Mel (I think that was her name) on the check in desk exceptionally so, she was knowledgeable about the city and places for me to visit and see. Similarly the housekeeping staff were happy to engage with me in conversation in the elevator and there was no awkward quietness either. I cant think of anything I disliked about the hotel, if you use public transport though for an evening in the city it can be a bit awkward getting back as you could have an unpaved area to navigate.

This property was awesome. Very clean.. pretty comfy bed.. spacious.. quiet. Only complaint was they were out of dark roast coffee less than an hour after breakfast started… but as it turned out for me, the light roast was most yummy❣️

Close to the city and easy to get to.

Dylan, on reception, was amazing - smiling constantly, positive and super helpful. Breakfast was good, plenty of choice and of a good quality. The soap etc in the room was lovely as were the fluffy towels. Bed comfortable and tv of a good size. Downsides : there had obviously been a leak in our bathroom and it resulted in a constant damp smell in our room. The bedroom could have been cleaner - the electrical sockets were dirty and the carpet had a few strange marks, there was a dirty towel left on the bathroom floor.

Clean nice

Chips, lint and candy wrappers between the night stand and the bed. This is the first time that I have been at a Hampton Inn that looked dirty. Very disappointed. I won't stay at that location again! :(

It was very humid in our room and not very nice or clean.

The room was stinky and the carpets were moist. The wet/moist carpets made me to almost throw up

We had some hair and red mold in our bathroom tub - it wasn’t cleaned before our stay. The sink was clogged so bad we had to use the bathtub tap to brush teeth. Breakfast sausages were overcooked, They were out of milk and dark roast coffee even when though it was only 9am and the breakfast is until 10. Overall the properly looks dated, and definitely not worth the Hamptons Inn brand. This is the worst one that we stayed at, and we stayed in many.

The location of the property was excellent. Melody was awesome. The bathroom had excessive hair in the tub and sink areas. The garbage can already had trash in it. The pillows and blanket were dirty. They were removed and placed in the closet and by the door for pick up but were never picked up. We went out to buy a blanket and two pillows to use during our stay. Daytime housekeeping or fresh towels are hard to get.

One of the most uncomfortable beds in a Hampton Inn that I’ve ever stayed in. Not the cleanest room either and the water pressure was incredibly low. Will not use them again when I’m in town. Parking was disastrous.
