Slept good, breakfast good, been there many times.

I don't think the outside from the parking lot was the most inviting. But once inside, it's very well lit and beautiful. And the room was excellent, minus having no USB ports for charging. The bed was great, the bathroom was very nice.

My room was comfortable and the location was pretty good. No fault of the hotel but there was construction close that made it confusing to get to the entrance.

The breakfasts were acceptable, though the supplies were not completely stocked ...but again, with a little wait, resupplies arrived. There was an electrical problem with the toaster, but it was repaired just after i finished breakfast. Ive stayed at holiday inn express elsewhere in the country, so i knew what was on faire...i might suggest that the breakfast hours be extended to 10 am...i had to contend with 2 bus groups which made things a bit more rushed than desired.

The location for us was perfect. We visited the Cultural District, museums and restaurants downtown, and the North and South Shores. We spent several days visiting Carnegie/Crafton/Rosslyn Farms/ Mt Lebanon neighborhoods. Location was central to everything. The staff was tremendously helpful. Everything was very clean. I would have liked a little more lighting in the room. But when i come to Pittsburgh again I will stay there again.

Disappointed that I booked a shower/tub combo room but was given a walk in shower. I enjoy winding down in a hot bath at night. I always check the listing to ensure I book the tub. Put a damper on my stay. Also took off a star for breakfast. Pictures on their advertising sites show BACON. They do NOT have bacon. Just the cheap sausage patties it seems everyone reverted to since Covid. Coffee was good quality. Freshly ground beans. Overall it was a decent hotel, but you don’t get what is actually advertised.

This place needs work and it not what I expect from a Holiday Inn Express. Rude staff, smoke smell in a non-smoking room. Dirty carpets. Aged bathrooms.

The breakfast buffet was probably the biggest disappointment. It was very crowded, and the food selection and quality were fairly underwhelming. The new coffee brewers were extremely slow, which resulted in a long line just to get a cup of coffee during an already busy breakfast period. We also found the front desk staff to be a little less welcoming and friendly than we would have expected. None of these issues were major on their own, but collectively they did detract from the overall experience. With a few improvements, particularly to the breakfast setup and guest service, this could be a much better stay.

The breakfast was AMAZING! I liked that it had a microwave. It’s a little outdated. The TV is super old and small. The beds were a little rough.

I would stay here again. It was quiet and even with a late check-in (11pm), there was parking available. Wish we had more time to spend at the hotel and take advantage of the amenities. Breakfast was good.

The rooms are supposed to be non-smoking, but my whole room smelled of cigarette smoke. Informed the staff and was told wouldn't be charged for it. Other than that, room was nice, spacious and clean. This was my third time staying here. Will definitely come back.

Easy access to downtown Pittsburgh. Morning breakfast was good and the coffee was available throughout the day.
