The room was pretty clean probably one of the cleanest I have ever been. We had an hour delay for checking in but staff was nice and gave us a great room with the nice view of water and bridge. Only issues: one was located at a very noisy location due to being so close to the highway so if you have problems sleeping with noise this is not your place at least that side of the room. The second was their breakfast buffet wasn’t as good as other places I have been to. Parking was slightly an issue because we couldn’t park in front of the hotel with the tight spot being all full once we arrived to get the parking so we had to park in the closes parking lot available and walk with our bags.

Close to down town and it’s super clean Nothing

getting to the actual hotel can be a hassle with all the one way streets and narrow streets. We missed it the first time trying to get to it.

Staff was very welcoming and helpful. Property was very clean. Beautiful views from breakfast. Breakfast was very fresh and plentiful. Only a 15 minute walk to PPG arena. Not a reflection of the hotel, but I didn’t realize the parking situation. There is on street metered parking and garages a few blocks away, but I could have saved myself three detours and an unexpected tour of downtown Pittsburgh by using the valet parking from the beginning.

Very close to another of attractions and the best staff Nothing the stay was freat

The room was very nice, as was the breakfast. The staff was pleasant, inviting, and understanding. The desk receptionist thought she was doing us a favor by giving us a "room with a view"; however, the river view also meant being adjacent to the busy, noisy highway. The worst was that there was no on-site parking. There are public garages in the vicinity (within walking distance), but a true inconvenience. Valet parking is available but at cost, and could be disruptive to one's schedule.

The room was clean and the staff while checking in and housekeeping were friendly. Our biggest issue was parking. Valet was the only option given to us from the hotel itself (could have used public parking, but felt more comfortable for the safety of our vehicle to be in the hotel’s parking) so we chose valet over public parking. When we needed our vehicle the first time it was a smooth process. When we checked out we waited over an hour for our vehicle. There was zero updates on the vehicles and when asked about it the valet staff was rude. It was a busy time and there was a lot of people checking out, but they brought 1 vehicle back in a 20 minute time period. They certainly wasn’t prepared for the amount of people needed to check out at the same time. And certainly wasn’t friendly when questioned.

Location was good. I liked that the hotel was modern and not fancy with chandeliers, etc. The breakfast on the 2nd floor was good - scrambled eggs, oatmeal, bagels, juices, etc. My room was nice. The staff was nice and accommodating. I stayed 2 nights, and they didn't clean my room, which is ok, but, I had to ask for a refresh of the coffee packets in the room after the first night.

The location was close to the transit system and was walkable to most areas including the ball park within 20 minutes.

Very nice. The staff was very pleasant and very attentive There wasn't very much parking or access from the road and I had to walk several blocks to get there
-
They were very accommodating for the tournament players to include opening some of the breakfast early for those who had to leave before 7:00 AM!

The walls of this hotel are very thin...I heard someone snoring next store and had to change rooms in the middle of the night. Also the bathroom door auto locked. Luckily I was not in the bathroom when that happened. I had to call the front desk. Would not recommend it!

Book this hotel for my sons 8th birthday trip pictures were deceiving booked a suite for almost 700$ for two nights and was not worth the money after complaining to front desk I called Expedia to get a refund and was pretty much ignored by my CSR Antoinette the property staff was very understanding and helpful but the agent for Expedia was not at all and I have used this 3rd party for booking plenty of hotels and my 1st time having an issue and I was being brushed aside very disappointed not at Fairfield but by Expedia
