Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Pittsburgh Airport

Room was clean, bed was very comfortable, located near lots of restaurants and businesses. Tv remote had a sleep timer. From what I saw, this hotel deserves a higher reading. Maybe the mid to high 7’s Not much to say here. The lobby was a little too warm? I saw a lot of negative comments about breakfast. We slept in and did not have breakfast. It’s a little beat up, certainly not perfect, but what do you expect for $107 a night?

The closeness to all available shops you could ask for AC unit was extremely loud and would turn on automatically at all hours of the night.

Bathroom was dirty. It’s in need of major renovation. Staff at the front desk were courteous. Continental breakfast was basic but not bad. Beds were comfortable. The outdoor of the hotel is clean. Parking is easy and free. Hotel is nicely located next to shops and restaurants. I consider it very safe in that area. If you’re looking to save money and have a budget friendly place, stay here. Picky people and light sleepers, don’t stay here.

Breakfast was sparse so we doordashed Dunkin Not that clean. Bathroom had built up dirt in corners. Random treadmill in the room. Smelled like marijuana everywhere.

Very clean and comfortable We were lied to about the airport shuttle from the airport to the hotel. We landed at 12:10am and I called immediately for the shuttle to pick us up to bring us to the hotel. Before we left 3 days before (and left our car at the hotel) we asked and we're told the shuttle would stop at 12:30am! Called them the hotel and they said the shuttle stop running already. Could not get a Uber or taxi! Finally noticed a thing called ZTaxi and finally arrived at the hotel after 2am. Their breakfast leaves alot to be desired as well

Avoid

The staff was great. The showerhead area had mold in it, but the shower itself worked fine.

They let me check in late. My flight back to Pittsburgh was delayed. Not much. I checked out at 7:30am

Pretty dumpy place. No frills

Location The smell of marijuana the second you step into the lobby and in hallways , the complimentary breakfast was minimal, the hotel is outdated

The second room appeared ok but using the sink in the bathroom , water was rising in the sink . The sink was clogged. Went to the desk attendant, she said there is none to fix it. This all happened when we checked in at night. So she assigned a 3rd room. Room was absolutely dirty.

Room not well maintained

The free breakfast is false advertising. I wouldn’t table call it breakfast. Only toast, bagel, coffee and yogurt were offered but no protein options. First stay I booked with booking.com im not pleased with.

The rooms were very neat and well maintained.

Plenty of parking but the walls are thin so other guests drinking and staying up late at nearby bars may keep you awake. If you need late checkout, call the front desk, don't respond to the texts they send you because they are not on the same page but overall good value for the price.
