I booked my room two months in advance. Thank god, I selected to pay when arriving. So I only was charged the insurance protection fee of like $5- $10. Day of booked date, I had a feeling to check my email, luckily I did so. I got cancelation notice. I was not happy because while I was on the road to that hotel, I had to find another place last minute. And never got refunded the insurance protection fee.

The office closes at 5:00pm. I never got to check in. I had to cancel and find another hotel.

They literally cancelled my booking the morning of the day I was scheduled to check in. Left a voicemail, with a call back number that nobody answered all day. Was told it's an "extended stay facility, and the people staying decided to stay, so they have to cancel my reservation"

I never thought office is closed every Sunday, when we arrived I tried to call the number posted on the door to know how could we check in but no answer. Its good that I saw the housekeepers and they have enveloped about my booking details; however the room was not ready yet, she asked me to wait about 45 min. Otherwise, our night of stay was good, reasonable price but needs some maintenance work in room 209 for the hair blower , toilet flush and window.

Nothing Couldn't check into the hotel after 3pm

I arrived at approximately 7:15 pm and no one was there to check me in. I called two numbers and no one answered. Finally, someone answered one of my texts. The room indicated in the text was not ready when I stepped into it at 7:30 pm. A housekeeper showed then and started cleaning. It took about 15-20 minutes. The room itself is spacious – akin to a smaller one-bedroom apartment – but in a horrible condition (grease on the ceiling in the kitchen area, handles missing from the cabinets, extremely thick layer of dust on the window blinds, etc.

The room felt dirty. Cabinets didn’t have doors. The furniture was stained. The room smelled

We had booked a room after driving since 5am. There was no one at the property so we could check in. When I did find someone, she said they were over booked and had no room for us. She wasn’t willing to help with anything. I spent about 2 hours on the phone with 4 different people at Expedia before getting the room payment refunded. The place was very sketchy as was the lady running it.

The rooms smell terribly of pet urine.

Travelling for business. Left a note on booking we would be checking in around 1am. There was nobody staffed at the hotel. We had to find other accommodations

I arrived at 6 PM on a Sunday to find the Office dark and locked. Called the 219 phone number for the hotel. It was routed to a different area code and number. I left a voicemail, but that number is apparently not monitored by anyone. They also do not respond to messages sent to them via Expedia. Fortunately, there is another hotel next-door that had a room for me. Expedia is supposedly going to get me a refund, but they should remove this facility from their website. The clerk at the hotel next-door told me that this was not just an isolated incident. The facility is primarily an extended stay facility. That’s why the office is not stuffed all the time. But why would they accept reservations on a Sunday when their office is always closed on Sundays?

The staff is only there monday through friday from 8 til 5 we booked at 6:30

The room was clean but musty. Bed comfortable but not much sleep due to very loud traffic noise. No coffee or disposable cups available. Broken drawer handles. Had to take our own garbage out. For $100/night I expect a bit better. A bare bones place to sleep but service non existent (Office not open til 9 am, well after we left). Will not stay here again.

Oh, I can go on and on about how awful the room was. I booked a double queen room but was given a single king bed, as that was all that was left. Our thermostat was broken, stuck on 66 degrees. (I had to turn it off at the breaker to keep it warm enough in there). Everything, and I mean EVERYTHING, was filthy. The floors were covered in dirt and grime, the carpet was sticky and soaked next to the bed, we couldnt even take our shoes off. There were cobwebs in every corner, every lamp shade, the blinds, every vent. Every surface besides the bathroom sink seemed to have some sort of grimey film on it. It was absolutely disgusting.

day2-4 smelled like piss bought air bug and carpet cleaners to no avail caveat emptor

The front desk lady was nice. Dirty, not what was advertised, AC was out of one of my rooms I had gotten.

It was cheap and nice and it was located like 5 minutes away from my family goes every year, Lake Michigan Well i booked and reserved a room that was supposed to have 2 queen size beds in it but when i got there to check in they didnt have that room. I thought thats why you book it and reserve it so no one else gets that room?

They were not open for me to check in. Very disappointing.

Locked out of room. Horrible management. Had to stay at a different hotel the last night because nobody would answer the phone and no one at front desk.
