Very clean, if dated. Comfortable beds. Very flat pillows, the card reader didn’t always work.

Good location

No breakfast that I was told off Noisy room…next door occupant had the tv on all night long…walls are thin…had to get up and us ear plugs. The sink is falling apart. The emergency drain and other spots have chipped enamel and exposed metal which could be a hazard for cutting a hand. The metal is rusting!

Nice place, feels somewhat like a resort in a forest, yet well connected: the bus stops across the street and goes to downtown and beyond. Bus 12, runs frequently. If you arrive by train, you should walk from the train station six blocks on the 6th avenue to Burnside street, to the pink of purple skyscraper, to catch the 12. Airport is not very far from the hotel either: landing planes and the airport tower are seen from the hill. Hotel has two buildings: one at the busy intersection and other, smaller, behind the first one, across the intersection of two quiet residential streets. At that quiet intersection is also Cameo Pancake & Steak. And across the big street is 7-Eleven and Pizza Hut. In the room the sink is outside of the bathroom, in the niche in front of it. This is very useful when more that one person stay. There were a refrigerator and a microwave in the room (which was wonderful), but neither a kettle nor a coffeemaker, and none in the lobby either. (Actually, the lobby was closed, there was just an office with a window). Fortunately, there is 7-Eleven across the street. I bought a large cup of coffee, kept it in the refrigerator. poured in my own smaller glass, and heated in the microwave. But caution must be exercised.

The front desk clerk was very nice and friendly. The water pressure in the shower was AWESOME. The bed was really comfy. We had a room in a second building that seemed mellower than the main building. It was on the east side of portland and closer to hiking in the Gorge. It was a funky motel that they are clearly in the process of renovating. There were things like the cable TV cord draped across the wall that were not ascetically pleasing but didn't make any functional difference. I felt kinda sketched out when we first got there but had zero issues with saftey or noise.

The staff worked with me on parking because I had a large U-Haul I had to park Older rooms but got through the night just fine

Bedroom was clean and well stock. Staff was friendly and the price for the room was good. Ac/ Heather was really loud. I couldn't sleep because of it.
-
The staff was nice, room clean the rooms were out dated holes in the walls needs either a bath mat or railings for older guest. But it was convenient to airport and quiet No bath mat or railing made it hard to take a shower did like how hot dated the rooms where holes in the walls and not enough lighting in the room

The breakfast at the cameo restaurant was delicious and I didn’t know it had a good selection of Korean inspired dishes! Definitely will be back. Loved the proximity to a local bar, convenience store, airport and restaurant. The room was clean and bed was comfortable and the heating unit worked like a charm and made the room nice and toasty very quickly. Don’t touch your cellphone to the key card used to access the room. I made that mistake and was locked out of the room and had to go back to the office to have them recode it. That’s my only complaint. The staff were always friendly and willing to help.
