Portlander Inn and Marketplace

Very pleased with our 2 day stay. We took advantage of the free breakfast. Delicious. We went to the movies on site. We had the theater to ourselves. Room was cleaned daily. Staff at restaurant were nice.

Friendly staff and clean, serviceable room and amenities. However, the rooms are very basic and mine looked out over a large unsightly flat roof at a semi-truck car park. The property appears to be part of a truck stop in an industrial/commercial part of town far from walkable shops. The hvac system vented on the roof below my window made significant mechanical hum in the room. None of this would have surprised me in a hotel with an average rating of “okay” or “good.” But the Expedia rating of “wonderful” set me up to expect something more. I would consider this a good option for a one or two night stay as a jumping off place to explore the Columbia River Gorge since it is close to Hwy 84. Two big bright spots: breakfast is served in a regular restaurant with table service. It was excellent. The are gas pumps in front of the hotel with good prices.

Stayed 3 days. Had everything you could ever ask for on the property. Clean,quiet and the security was over the top. 10/10. Would recommend to anyone. Single or families. Staff were always welcoming.

It’s got everything you may need after a road trip and then some!

This is an ingenious facility. The motel room was spotless, the staff extremely friendly, and the complete breakfast freshly cooked to order, was delicious! The facility also offers under one roof, a gas station, convenience store, post office, a grille, Ponderosa Restaurant and Lounge, laundry, massage parlor and barbershop. The entire facility is very clean and the inn’s rooms are very quiet. I highly recommend Jubitz’s Portlander Inn and Marketplace as a wonderful place to stay during a visit to Portland and surrounding areas!

This property is a find and a bargain at that. Great restaurant options on site. The view is nothing to write home about but if you're just sleeping there then it doesn't really matter. Room is lovely- clean and spacious. I have already recommended it to friends.

Convenient meals, fuel, etc

The Portlander was friendly, clean and enjoyed the breakfast option and convenient store attached to the property. The area is more industrial type, lots of large trucks. Overall would stay there again. It was our first time in Portland so not familiar with the area.

Airport shuttle was not available at the hour i needed to fly. Maybe list the shuttle operating hours on your website

Even though it is considered a truck stop the cost for the room makes it well worth it. Hotel is VERY clean as are the rooms, lots of stuff to do with out leaving the property. The staff Robyn (front desk) Melissa (maid) are awesome.

Love this place! WE stay here whenever we are in Portland

Lots of conveniences right on the property. Fun line dance lessons for all ages. Food at the restaurant was very good. Horrible, inconsistent water pressure in the shower. Staff was not impolite, but not friendly.
