The Hotel Zags Portland

Beautiful hotel. Amazing staff. Bathrooms need help. A little CLR will take care of it ;-).

Exceptional

I liked the location of the hotel. It was near some food spots and a convenience store 5 minutes away that my spouse and I visited during our stay. After check-in, we were informed about s'mores and live music, which my spouse and I enjoyed. My spouse and I went to some food carts late at night that were about 5-10 minutes from the hotel. It was a very nicely kept, clean hotel with friendly staff all around. The only thing that could have been better was the view from the room, but that is to be expected when getting a hotel in the city.

Hotel Zags was a great and well maintained property. Loved the location, decor, and the staff. I will revisit them and will recommend it to all visiting Portland.

The hotel is modern with a youthful feeling. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfasts weren't great.

It was very pretty outside The room wasn’t very clean at all. There was hair in the bathroom and a very suspicious stain on the sheets it was late at night when I noticed so I didn’t bring it up but I wasn’t able to use the sheets due to their condition.

Our room was very dirty, the fridge was filty and carpet was not vaccumned. The bar or the resturant, their food was not great. FAmily amananies were great. Save yourslef a headache please don't stay here, its very unkept building and front staff is extremly rude.

Charged $35 per day as amenities charge. Unsure what those were.

The room was clean and the restaurant was very good and convenient. We did not utilize any of the extras they offer due to time restraints, but it looked like they had a lot of good options. Definitely a great place to stay

This was my first time in Portland and this hotel made my stay so great!! The staff is very helpful and the rooms were great! The suite had plenty of room. The rental program is amazing! We used the Roku and the bikes a few times and it was perfect! Definitely recommend staying here!

There was no info about the surrounding businesses, restaurants or attractions. Their website is awful and misleading. It adds $30 to the total when it says the price was with no additional fees. If it was not so close to the Keller I would have not stayed there.

The staff was wonderful and welcoming - there were so many fun amenities - such as a s'mores bar every night, free arcade games, board game room, equipment rentals, and a kid's play area. We also loved the baby goat party and the restaurant was really fantastic! Hands down one of our best hotel stays ever. We couldn't think of anything else for improvement, we loved it!
