Downtown Value Inn

It was a good location and walkable to the event we were attending. The staff was nice. No elevator and ice machine was near the front desk on street level.

The room was very well layed out. Lots of shops nearbty.

It’s a great location, and good value. While the building itself shows its age, the bed seemed very new and comfortable. Their parking lot is very tight, so consider street parking.

They gave us an early check in for the Blues Fest which was very important to our stay as there is no re entry. Very friendly staff. The parking was really tight and scary so I was happy to have the location close enough to walk to the waterfront so we didn't have to move the car. And the price was reasonable. Parking wasn't great, but the location was worth it.

The electrical outlets didn't work. No cups in the bathroom. Not even a coffee maker. You have to cross the street to get a cup. Nothing in the lobby.

Good for a budget friendly option downtown. Easy to get to public transportation or walk to restaurants/bars. Room was clean and staff was very helpful.

Staff were fantastic. Stored my backpack upon their suggestion before check in and after checkout. Very friendly and polite. Gave me receipts to eat several times. No hot water one time for shower, but fine the other 2 showers. Cold water from sink was warm.

Location was fine The parking is a joke!! Spaces are way too small for some vehicles.

parking garage sucks! trying to get directions sucked! i told them when i booked the room I needed the first floor if no elevator and i got an email saying that i was good to go and then a person with 2 bad knees, bad hip and bad back who walks with a cane had to walk up 2 flights of stairs! no coffee pot in rooms, ac in corner of room just blows air straight down wall not out into room.

Staff is friendly. The price is great. It's not a bad stay if your a single guy. I just needed a place to sleep for the night. I wouldn't recommend this place for any ladies. I feel the hotel is out dated and needs to be remodeled. Needs new carpet and paint. The bathroom needs to be remodeled for sure. Everything works though! The AC blew cold air and or heat. Toilet, sink and tub/shower all worked. Bed was clean and comfortable.

The trams outside are so loud it’s impossible to get sleep and the rooms are very dirty

Very affordable budget hotel with air conditioning, free parking and comfortable beds. I will go back.

The location is great, but our hotel room was smelly and unkept. The towels were dirty, the trash was not emptied and filled with used sanitary napkins, the carpet was old, the walls needed painting and patching, the sofa was missing cushions, and the windows wouldn't close properly.
