Cozy vibes. Clean. Welcoming. Super comfy bed. The decor and staff were nice. The downstairs coffeehouse was spot on for coffee-fueling before the day!
-
The room was great, comfy bed & pillows. The people at the front counter were very nice. Great coffee shop attached to the hotel. We didn’t do the valet parking because of the amount but there’s 2 (possibly more) parking garages nearby that was super convenient! We will definitely be staying there again next time we are in Portland.

The hotel is walkable to everything
-
We were told the property had on site parking which it didn’t. With additional charges to valet was not ok
-
Great hotel, very walkable to the waterfront and restaurants. Good coffee shop next door. Street parking was pretty easy if you don’t want to valet.
-
The staff were very friendly, and the service was excellent.
-
A little snag in our stay but their staff made everything right immediately. Cheers!

Booked a room That slept 4, king bed & a couch bed. We found out after check in that the couch bed was not a pull out couch and could only fit one person. So 3 of us piled in the king. Restaurant was closed which was part of the reason I booked this hotel. Location was fine.

The steam room was not available for use along with room service was not available after 8 PM when it was stated in the menu to be available till 10 PM. We had planned that into our evening and then realized there was no food available to be served in our room. We then had to leave the hotel to find some food and that was a bit disappointing. The property is clean and well managed and I still will come back, even though I had some inconveniences on this last visit.

Modern, updated rooms. Great pool and outside fire pit great for reading. Good location close to coffee shops, water front and walking distance to max lines. We will come back here again when visiting Portland!

I have traveled from Olympia to Portland to see comedians Kevin Hart and MoJo Brokz and stayed at the Porter Hotel both times. The hotel is in a great location and has valet so you don't worry about parking. I love this place, staff are nice, and did I mention it has a roof-top bar.

Be ready to pay high prices for parking!!!!

Great location with sauna and steam

This is a great place to stay. The staff are kind, the rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable, and the pool is amazing!
-
Very nice hotel and would definitely stay there again. Slept great!
-
The only minor drawback was the pull-out couch, which was not particularly comfortable and wasn't a great sleeping option. Aside from that, everything was wonderful. The rooms were comfortable, the facilities were excellent, and the overall experience exceeded our expectations. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend The Porter to anyone visiting Portland.

the “free” wifi was unusable and i refuse to pay for usable wifi in a “4 star” hotel. A 4 star hotel without free usable wifi isn’t 4 star. its a 2 star hotel trying to squeeze their clients for extra cash

After my first STP, it was a very clean friendly place to spend the night!
-
I didn’t like the the toilet kept getting clogged instead of changing my room I had to keep calling downstairs and my room key stopped working multiple times?
-
I had a 40th birthday we planned everyone was very helpful. Beautiful place to stay, safe and the roof top bar was awesome. Would definitely stay there again.
