Great location.

Charming B&B. Staff were all warm and sociable. Breakfast was delicious and generous.

The size, facilities and cleanliness of the room. The choice and quality of the breakfast. The location is very pleasant, but for us easier access on foot to downtown Providence would have been welcome.

Lovely homely b&b with a personal touch. Large room, ample breakfast, pleasant staff. The communal complimentary coffee lounge was an excellent addition. Only ‘negative’ is the highway which runs alongside, which is noisy but unavoidable.

The lounge area with water / tea/coffee is great . We had a blocked toilet , requested maintenance assist while we were at breakfast , returned in the evening and had to repair the issue ourselves thereafter clean the toilet also . It would also have been helpful for our bins to have been emptied during our stay which weren’t done .

Charming home, attention to amenities and friendly staff. I would suggest a grab bar for exiting the tub.

Everything was great

Hostess at breakfast was very stern and not customer friendly. On check in we weren’t shown where breakfast was or to our room. It seemed they wanted minimal interaction with guests. Would not recommend or stay there.

Very homey, lovely staff, very caring and clean. Wonderful breakfast! Loved the historic nature of the house :) I know they can’t do anything about it but the garbage truck at 7am and then again at 7:45 was rough to wake up to. Very loud.

and had a lovely fireplace that warmed the whole area within minutes. The inn offers ftee parking and a free breakfast and both were outstanding.. The parking is immediately adjacent to the house. The breakfasts were among the best I have had anywhere in the world. Every day there was a large Continental breakfast buffet, which would have been plenty of food for most people: yogurt with homemade pecan granola, hard cooked eggs, fruits, a variety of delicious pastries and bakery. But on top of that, they had two different entrees each day, one sweet and one savory. On the day I left the choice was strawberry pancakes or eggs Benedict. The inn is in a nice, very quiet old neighborhood. I loved looking out of the windows in my room and seeing other beautiful Victorian homes. From just outside the house you could also see the majestic Rhode Island state house, which is beautifully lit at night. the whole room within minutes

The bed was incredibly comfortable!! The facilities were clean and beautifully decorated. Staff was warm and attentive. All signs were clearly and kindly written. Breakfast was lovely. Great location.

The morning breakfast was delightful. Snacks & coffee/tea/etc were available at all times for guests. The staff is always available and always very friendly and helpful. The location is extremely central and was close to everything.

Room was very nice -- fireplace was a great bonus. Kept bumping into the bed stool - but that was our clumsiness. Bed was a little hard -- but comfortable enough to sleep. Our room was not total dark, which is charming unless you are used to a very dark room at night. Staff was very pleasant.

I spent two nights at CDH and everything from checking in to checking out was very easy. The food for breakfast was excellent and quickly served. The room I had was good sized and was very clean. I would recommend this B&B for any trip to the Providence RI area.

Loved how homey it was. It felt like you were part of the family. Can’t think of anything.
