Just the Hair Blower, not...

The hotel staff member who check us in was very kind, making an end to a difficult day more bearable. Our server at the restaurant was equally as kind, working hard to fill their staffing gaps. Overall a wonderful stay.

This property is the middle of downtown, right in front of the Capitol. Definitely a plus if you are conducting official business or are visiting the capitol. everything was good, not extraordinary; but it does solve the problem of being centrally located. the restaurant could use some improvements such as better menu, faster service and l-more lighting.

Overall the facility was so well-designed. It was a treat for the eyes! A/C was a bit noisy so we turned it off at bedtime. Room was commodious and well furnished/decorated. We requested a view of the State Capitol building but for whatever reason, we got the parking lot view. It was a last-minute booking but that view would have been exceptional. The bar on the lower level was great - friendly bartender. The location across from the Providence Center was great - haven't been inside a mall in forever. Will definitely stay here again. A room with a better view would have been nice - a bowl of fruit in the lobby and a mini-fridge in the room would have been appreciated. Nothing to dislike.

I was very disappointed with the bed. I ordered a King size and I believe we had a full size. I meant to say something. But we had a busy schedule.

2. A bird was dead outside of the window and so many flies were on top of it. It's too bad that it was highly rated. We relied on the review and booked this hotel. We will stay at a different hotel when we are in Providence again.

Weeks before arrival, I first sent several text messages to the hotel as recommended attempting to communicate an emergent need to change my reservations and request a refund or credit. I never received a reply. I then called repeatedly but no one would answer the phone. I finally reached a young lady who was very helpful, listened to my dilemma, left a message for the manager and said I would get a call or email by the end of the day. I never heard back.

Perfect location downtown and walkable to all the attractions. Very clean property and room met all expectations
-
Great hotel but my only complaint is I had to put in a dispute case as charged a “pm bev” charge that we did NOT incur as we never ate or drank anything at the hotel. Now awaiting billing dept to resolve.

Nothing special

The hotel was in an interesting historic building. Cost was high and parking was very expensive. Valet parking only.
-
Room was very clean and bed was comfortable but no free parking or breakfast. You will have to pay for Valet. I was charged $48 for the night without being informed. The hotel lobby is very nice and reception desk workers were great.
