This is a European-style, inexpensive but hip hotel, conveniently located in Downtown Providence, best for the younger traveler who may not require amenities like in-room coffee or fridge or a sturdy mattress. Our “suite” was small but artistically decorated, lacked a wardrobe and serviced by a tiny, shower-only toilet. The hotel lobby is serviced by a cafe bar and coffee table filled with art catalogues & magazines. There’s an excellent French restaurant next door and a Karaoke Bar in the back of the hotel.

Nice place, and by using their inside QR code for parking is way lower then average.

Our room was not cool at all. The ac was running but did not ever cool the room completely. There was a petrified French fry on the floor. The bed was uncomfortable and worn out. Every time we shifted in the bed it was squeaky. The shower curtain was missing clips at the top and would cling to us as we showered. The ice maker on the second floor did not work. Parking is $42 with tax. We were not at all impressed with this hotel.

Parking charge was steep.

I love how homey the Neptune hotel felt. Everything was great and had a nice vibe to it. Front desk were incredibly friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.
-
Love the 1920s vibe maintained in the hotel’s structure and design elements. The hotel is centrally located, is clean, safe and quiet.

The pros: the location of this property is fantastic. The cons: basically everything else. I am a fan of charm and character in a hotel but in this case it just means “small and impractical”. Elevator is incredibly small and difficult to use. The shower in our bathroom - and we booked the largest size room available - was so ridiculously small it was basically unusable. Parking is expensive for being so wildly inconvenient and seems like your vehicle could be towed or booted at any time. the cafe - which is the only way to have coffee here - was not open at the time listed.
-
Quirky property but easy to find. We booked the double bunk room and it was quite small for three so would be a real squeeze for four persons.
-
Stayed only briefly. Nice staff, really cool room. Good vibe.
-
They were awesome !… specially the girl at front desk.
-
Room is on the smaller side. Bathroom is very small, esp the standing shower is super tight with only an overhead rain shower. There is no handheld option so you’ll always get the hair wet. This wasn’t ideal.

Cute room no fridge bring cooler if you want cold drinks at night but very cool place quaint and good downtown location everything walked able
-
Overall very nice and staff helpful. Only minor criticism is that the rooms and bathrooms are dark. And beds were not comfortable and felt old.
-
The room and hotel were great! Our only complaint was the noise. We could hear music from a nearby bar (maybe the hotels bar) throughout our stay and you could easily hear anyone that was in the hallway. But overall a great stay and we would definitely stay here again.
-
Staff were solid but calling the king suite a suite was laughable at best. It's just a bed, chairs, and a shower in a bigger room.
-
Staff were brilliant. Location was excellent. Room upgraded on arrival. Very content solo traveller. Nothing.
-
Amazing spot with truly unique design and layout. The old school elevator was very cool and surprisingly easy to use.
