Provo River Inn

The door to our room was propped open with a hanger. There was no towels, hair hanging from tub faucet . The bar where the hand towel should hang was dirty. Stained carpets. Ironing board had a dark spot on it , fridge was not clean. Hair dryer didn't work , bathroom light wouldn't come on....but then it did by itself. There was no place to put the coffee filter, that part was missing, but the room was equipped with the coffee pot and cups and amenities. We went to the front desk to ask for towels which they did say they would bring them to us. When asked what time breakfast was she said we don't serve breakfast we are remodeling. Nowhere did it say they were remodeling when I was reading about the room or sorry about inconvenience for no breakfast being served. Also the pool was locked with a chain and a padlock it was also being remodeled. If we wouldn't have been so tired we wouldn't have stayed and found another place to stay this was horrible. But the beds weren't bad. I would not recommend this motel to anyone or they should at least clarify on their website that they're remodeling and about the inconveniences

Great location! Bed was comfortable! Staff friendly. Hallways were very hot. Ice machine broken. Pool and hot tub under repair. Tub did not drain well and shower and bathtub fixture were in disrepair, tiles lifting up in bathroom. Windows were very dirty.

We moved to another hotel the second night. This property needs to be renovated, holes in the wall where an outlet used to be, broken TP holder, bed pillows were the size of sofa pillows. No sofa or chair in the room. Smelled like smoke in the hallways.

Additionally, we were locked out of our room because the swinging door latch for whatever reason was toggled. The place is rundown and lacking proper upkeep. Please spend the extra money to have a better stay.

Front runner runs by the hotel every 20+ minutes, but honestly didn’t hear it at all (and it was literally right outside our window). Mostly just saw it when the shades were up. Not a minute of sleep was lost because of it. A staff member was always around if I needed them. They also had an outdoor pool, decent work out space and a laundry, so amenities are there. Breakfast is continental, most sugar and starch based. But it has something. Right by the I-15 exit/entrance and there is a winco less than a 1/4 mile down the street. Location was fairly easy to spot and easy to get to. Location is kinda ‘sketch’, but not overbearingly so. I would say on the edge of seeing sketchy. My card didn’t work one morning on an outside door, but it worked on another door, needed a plunger once and we hadn’t used the toilet to any degree that should need one, so small stupid quirks like that. Shower was very low flow, but warm water came out. Room looked like it could be better maintained, but nothing at all disturbing. I stayed at a big name property before and after, so I’m keeping perspective on this small inn compared to “the big guys.”

Great location! Dog crap near parking lot

Staff. They were wonderful. No elevator. Long hallways to room. Parking is not convenient to where the room was. I'm handicapped and it was difficult on me to get to my room.

This place is filthy. Dirt and dust everywhere. The floor and walls had visible goo. The sheets seemed clean but were stained and wrinkled like they had sat in the dryer for a week. It was cheap and I didn’t plan to be there very long. My expectations were low but the place was worse. Never stayed anywhere so dirty.

Rooms were not well cleaned. Many things were broken. Property looks poorly maintained.

The room they put me in had not been vacuumed and had garbage on the floors. It made it so I wasn't sure if anything else was actually cleaned. I was very disappointed.

nothing that u guys advertised this with a pool n breakfast neither were offered. u also stated on the website that there was a cash deposit of $150 req. that was not true either...they took NO CASH and charged me a different amount for the deposit. and top it all there was a coffee maker but no coffee or cups n our bed cover was dirty!!!

The included breakfast wasn’t available either The staff were unwilling to help with the issue

I debated wanting a refund , and not staying there, but had drove over 9 hrs and exhausted plus a lightening storm was starting . I purchased at nonrefundable discounted and was too tired so just tried to rest.

Friendly staff, clean and well kept property. The water in the shower was hard to adjust and not very hot. The tub is peeling and the shower curtain was curved away from the tub so the floor got wet.
