Motel 6 Reno, NV - Livestock Events Center

We rushed back to our room and the keys didn’t work. I had to rush back to get them activated and the same girl (didn’t get her name, but she had dyed red hair) acted like she didn’t just see me 30 seconds ago. We managed to get our cats and boxes into our cars and I ran back to the counter to turn our keys in. I swear that girl looked at the clock as she took my keys. We’re sitting in our car, in the parking lot, because we have no where else to go. This has been the most humiliating experience. As far as the room, it’s a Motel 6. Small room. Not clean, but not filthy. Internet sucks. It’s situated in a bad neighborhood. We heard everything outside. Do not walk out at night. Our door locks were used. But the door shut. There were no bed bugs and the bed was surprisingly comfy. You get what you pay for.

I had to use this hotel due to fire evacuation, glad they received pets with no fee, unfortunately the pet’s owners don’t respect the property and don’t clean the dog’s poops. Hotel cleanliness is super poor but I did not have any other option

Not much at all. It was clean. That’s about it. First, when I made the reservation, I specifically requested a ground-floor room to accommodate my mother, who is handicapped. I was assured that this would not be a problem. However, when we arrived to check in, we were informed that no ground-floor rooms were available. We were instead placed in an upstairs room, which created significant difficulty for my mother and made our stay much more challenging than it should have been. In addition, we did not feel safe or comfortable at the property. There were individuals loitering around the motel at all hours, including what appeared to be prostitution activity. The noise throughout the night was excessive, with people outside partying, yelling, and causing disturbances until approximately 4:00 a.m. At one point, around 1:00 a.m., someone was even banging on our door. We contacted the front desk, and the gentleman working did come outside and ask the individuals to settle down. Unfortunately, the disturbances continued afterward. We were ultimately told that we could contact the police if we felt it was necessary. Between the failure to accommodate the ground-floor room we had specifically requested for my handicapped mother, the ongoing disturbances, and the overall lack of safety and security we experienced, this was an extremely disappointing stay. We were unable to rest or feel comfortable at the property and, unfortunately, this was by far the worst motel experience we have ever had.
