Holiday Inn Express Boston Logan Airport - Revere by IHG

We booked this hotel specifically because they offered a free airport shuttle. We arrived at the airport to learn the shuttle service no longer operated. But, they honored our reservation and called for and paid for an Uber driver for the six of us. Terrific service.

Holiday Inn Express Boston Logan has decided to eliminate important amenities for frequent travelers, including airport shuttle and lobby coffee station. I am not going to stay here again.

The hotel is very clean, comfortable and has a very friendly front desk staff.

Very nice and clean property. The wife and I were up celebrating our 9 yr anniversary and everything was good with the stay. The breakfast was close to exceptional every morning. Staff was very nice and energetic. Helpful on tips navigating around to local attractions also. We would visit there again.

—The positives— Super clean, quiet, useful amenities, comfortable and high quality bed and pillows, great view from the high floor, helpful front desk who met my request in the booking notes, good public transportation (the blue line subway is 5 minutes away) —The not so great— a) There is a gap under the door where frigid air from the hallways comes in (uncomfortable draft at your feet and in the room). b) I booked through Expedia and got a great rate, much better than the hotel’s direct website. The front desk team met my request for a 5:30 PM late checkout for a payment of half an extra day. Fair so far. However, the rate they used was the one on the website, not my own booking rate. So be aware that a 2 hours late checkout is 50$ extra, 3 hours is 75$, any time beyond that is whatever unrealistic rate they have on their website divided by two. My recommendation is to book an extra day at the time of your main booking using your online booking app of choice and to avoid the hotel’s website or front desk requests for late checkouts. c) The hotel has a 30$ parking fee for overnight stays. Seems greedy for a 3-star hotel. Overall, at the great Expedia rate, maybe I would return if I made my plans exclusively on Expedia and I did not need parking. But - at the hotel rates posted on their website and with the high parking fees, I would choose another hotel.
