Excellent property. Breakfast was basic. Need some improvement. Great staff.
-
There were a few small issues in the room, but the staff was fantastic in taking care of those concerns. Staff was helpful, location is good, and amenities were nice (pool wasn’t open but we knew that).
-
The pros: Airport transfer. Location - right by the T and beach. Standard clean room. The cons: Disinterested staff. Pool closed - looks to be permanent- no commination re this from hotel. The breakfast. OMG. Just about Ok first morning. Very limited on the second. On the final day so limited had to buy the kids something from Starbucks! Literally oats or a banana. I know its 4th July but if you double your rates for the holiday you have to at least maintain service! If back in Boston I would look elsewhere.

Holiday weekend. Pool out of service, only one elevator, almost no food at the breakfast buffet. They are taking advantage of their location and the demand. Shameful

The pull out bed didn’t come with sheets and blanket and the front desk didn’t answer the phone for such a long time we just went down to get the sheets etc. Otherwise good experience

Great location and great hotel

The hotel was spotless, and our suite was spacious, modern, and very comfortable for my family and kids. The beds were amazing, and we appreciated the thoughtful layout, which gave our family plenty of room to relax after a full day of exploring the city. Complimentary breakfast was just excellent. It had a great variety of fresh options (different ways of eggs, different types of bread, variety of beverages), making it easy to start each morning. The hotel’s location was also fantastic; easy to get in the rental car with the gps, and close to many of Boston’s top attractions, restaurants, and shopping, specifically the downtown and Newbury St. Amenities were good, for example, the restaurants and gym are, but the pool area was closed. That was so disappointing because my kids wanted to use the pool. Other than this, we would absolutely stay here again and recommend SpringHill Suites in Revere, Boston, to anyone visiting the area. Thank you.

Room - 4/5 - could be a little better but the view from ocean view was worth adding to room type Breakfast- 2/5 - there was literally nothing for vegetarians. Bread and bagels were kept, but they were like either frozen or for some reason tasteless. Even a 2 star hotels keep options like fruits, cupcakes, muffins etc. parking - good

The nightstand drawer front was missing. The pool was closed…by order of the town of Revere. The breakfast was not stocked well

The facilities were clean and well maintained. The on site restaurant and staff were excellent. Located directly across from the beach and close to the train station it is convenient for transit. Starbucks on site was convenient as well. The only thing about our stay was the pool was out of service, but we were given the option to visit another Marriott property 15 minutes away (and we did… it was excellent). Also, make sure you validate your parking. I got a bill from the rental company when I got home. It was quickly reconciled by the hotel, but just something that wasn’t handled upfront.

We booked this location specifically for the pool and then the pool was closed when we went for our trip.

We have stayed at this hotel before and had a great experience. The location is great. Rooms are large, clean and comfortable. Beach is right outside the door. Hotel was slightly understaffed for how busy it was this weekend. Our sofa bed was not made up and no bedding was in the room. We had to call down to the desk three time to get bedding and ended up just going down ourselves at almost midnight after an hour to get the bedding. Definitely needed more staff for a very busy weekend with FIFA and weddings happening. Marriott needs to work on their breakfast, it has not been good the last few visits. Not just at this hotel.

Overall we were happy with this hotel. Location was convenient to the T and Boston. The only complaint we had was around the pool being under repair. It would have been nice for the front desk staff to have informed us of this, but we would stay again if in the area.

Super helpful staff great large room delicious breakfast.

Breakfast was good, decent options, good variety, included with the stay. Fees:$50 security deposit per night, $20/night parking. Located about 25-30 min ride from Boston downtown. Pros:nice view, Starbucks on main floor 5:30AM to 7PM, walking distance from nice restaurants and beach(not swimmable in mid June), mini fridge, microwave, coffee machine. Cons:lack of cleanliness, front desk staff attitude, closed pool without prior warning. I don't recommend anyone to stay here.

Wasn’t worth the money

Check in was nice EXCEPT when the staff (Anderson) couldn’t explain why he charged my card for $262. We had to get the manager involved who said that the $150 incidental charge would fall off. The other $60 was for three days of parking. And the $50 was the additional fee tax. He said everything would fall off except parking per office manager (Jerome). When I checked out, Hassan couldn’t explain why I was charged $120 for taxes that looked the same as the amount Hotels.com charged and why the other staff members said everything would fall off except the $60 as he said I’d be charged $120. While the hotel was relatively clean, our toddlers found a large screw on the floor and a drill bit on the bathroom floor. Free basic breakfast (no veggies) and coffee were helpful. The view was nice. The bar at night was also good. By the way, the pool we came for due to toddlers was closed and under reconstruction. Everything was fine except the additional charges that I will dispute per the office manager’s guarantee. Not sure if I will go through Hotels.com ever again or pay over $350 plus tax and fees for a hotel like this. I do feel scammed — not going to lie, and we travel enough (and too chaotic with two toddlers to complain) that when we have to flag things, it’s not a good sign.
