Best Western Plus Executive Hotel

Tissue paper and toilet paper in the rooms was so cheap and of poorest quality - cheap job. The elevator was smelling of diesel fuel. The lady on night shift needs to be more friendly and smiling and welcoming rather than robotic. A robot would do a better job than your night staff. Overall good but these few irritants if improved would drastically improve your rating. Also no room cleaning for the entire weekend ??

The elevator smells like a NYC subway and only one of them were functional. The first room we got the AC was broken. The second room was fine, just had some shotty repairs (ie there was some of the molding on the bathroom doorframe that might have rotted out but instead of replacing the molding they just shoved some wood putty or caulk in it to kind of hide it and then painted over it). The breakfast experience was horrendous. I went at 9:15, which apparently is what everyone else in the hotel decided to do and there was not enough food. The pancake machine wasn’t working, there were no biscuits for the gravy, the sausages ran out and the attendant was trying to make more food, but only made one tray of eggs and with how many people were waiting (or coming in, seeing there was no food so they left) it just wasn’t nearly enough to keep up with the demand.

AC was very good. Clean room. Very busy when we were there. There were lots of construction workers...must be the nice hor breakfast. There were plenty of biscuits with gravy, scrambled eggs, sausage, cereal, pancakes, toast, English muffins, and condiments.

The air conditioner was very loud and the paint was peeling in the shower. It looks like they have tried to rehab the place but they didn't do a very good job. However, for the price I can't complain too much.

My room was clean and nice, the breakfast was good, and the price was good, but because I will be staying a lot, I wish you offered a government rate.

Great stay

The place was as outdated and nasty as a third world infested campground.. the elevator was nasty and had a bad odor. I book 3 nights however I would not stay I check out the first night… I would not recommend this place to even a homeless people. I think I now having flashbacks from the filthy outdated condition of this place

We had ants crawling all over our room. Thankfully we only stayed one night but it was uncomfortable trying to sleep not knowing if you would wake up to ants crawling on you. We were not offered anything when we reported it to the people at the front desk.

The room was quiet, clean, and up to date. The AC unit was functioning but it was broken exposing sharp edges and dirty interior. The refrigerator leaked water with each defrosting cycle. The breakfast buffet was typical but they struggled to keep all the stations operating.

The room had mold in the window and mouse poop behind the beds. The flooring in the room was coming up which made me trip. The flooring in the hallways we gross with crumbs. Only one elevator worked and it was disgusting on the inside. The free breakfast was inedible.

The beds were comfortable. The shower pressure was ok (not great but not horrible). The breakfast was fine and the front desk staff and house keeping staff were nice. The hotel is ok. The room they gave us had a broken toilet so we moved to another room. The toilet was very low to the ground. All in all the rooms were a bit old and they try to cover it up with paint but stains and spots and old toilets are still there. The had a wall unit A/C under the window in the room. Like always with these types of units, they were very loud, switching on and off all night long and waking you up regularly. My inlaws had the same experience in their room. It is a bit overpriced for what it is but nothing majorly wrong. If you are in Richmond for a night or two, it is fine.

Room wasn’t clean at all, bugs in the bed me and my girlfriend slept in the couch bad experience. I would never recommended that place to no one.
