La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Detroit Metro Airport

I’d booked two rooms one for me and the other for my daughter. Her first room had opened bottles of champagne and trash. So, she was switched to another room and that room had ladies under garments and other items left from another patron, and she had to clean her room from the filth. She gotten no housekeeping services the entire time of her visit either. My room was filthy from the time of arrival until I checked out. I had to get my own cleaning products at the time of arrival around 130am. No housekeeping services for my entire visit. I complained to front desk and they given the excuse of limited staffing. I’d requested to speak with General Manager and she never responded to me while she was on-site. I wouldn’t ever recommend this dump to anyone, the reviews shown prior to booking were good, and recent. Those people which may have been employees lied big time. My experience was absolutely horrendous. This places gets negative stars from me!!!

Amazing staff. Clean rooms. Enjoyed to round the clock apples/oranges and the fruit infused water. Would recommend removing ashtrays from entrance, to prevent guests from smoking right at the entrance. Would also recommend nice air freshener especially as we walk into the hotel. Even though clean, it smells moldy.

The property was very clean. The staff was very courteous. The food for breakfast was excellent and the front desk was always available if you needed help with anything great place to stay must tell Friend.

Most of the breakfast was frozen it wasn’t made from scratch and cooked in front of you. I will change that up and add up charge on the price of the rooms to accommodate a better breakfast meal and a healthier breakfast meal.

Mediocre at best. Fine if you just need a place to rest your head

The entire stay overall was very pleasant. Good hot breakfast, quiet staff very friendly, close to airport, and hot water. I was impressed withe the complete stay.

It was a good night

Both the check-in and check-out front desk people were personable and gracious. The shuttle driver to the airport was so polite and kind. Everyone went above and beyond ! Thank you to your excellent staff.

The room was very clean. Although, only one small trash can by the desk, nothing in the bathroom. The staff was friendly. I would stay there again

Hotel room was horrible. Mold in the bathroom on the walls. Room smelled like cigarettes and I dropped my phone On the side of the couch and found some dirty panties.

The only good thing about staying here was the free breakfast. The staff really needs to work on their professional appearance. Most of them are dressed down with no type of professional attire. There was no one at the front desk when I needed help or had a question. I stayed there for 3 nights and housekeeping never showed up in our room. When my husband asked as to why he was told they were short staffed. There was no soap or paper towels in the bathroom by the lobby. Overall I would never stay here again.

Close to restaurants .highly recommend for a great night sleep. Friendly and helpful staff just as pictured. Lot very clean. Landscaping Beautiful.

To be honest I will never book here again, first of all the place had no WiFi, the first room they put me in the curtains were missing and when they moved me to another room someone else was in it. They then moved me to a third room the bed had black stains on it, I just stuck with it I’ve been driving for 4 hours and wanted to sleep. The place its self was dirty. They gave you small bottle of shampoo and conditioner for two people no body wash. Honestly the crew was nice but that’s the only good thing I have to say about this place.

The shuttle to the air port runs 24/7 so that was very helpful. However they dont make coffee in the lobby till 230am. There was no wash cloths in the bathroom and I never got the wifi to work but we had to go to sleep early so i didnt worry with it.. Bob Evans restaurant was within walking distance but dont get the burgers they were very dry.
