Wingate by Wyndham Detroit Metro Airport

I was treated very poorly and threatened with the police because I asked politely for a late check out and the housekeeper threatened me . Im sick with cancer. I don't have time to be treated so poorly The toilet flooded. Staff did nothing about it whatsoever. Bathroom was dirty. Im very very disappointed with my stay and will never be going back to this establishment ever.

The positives are that it’s close to the airport, it has hot water and the staff were nice, other than that stay somewhere else. The property is really old, pillows are terrible and the breakfast was awful.

Beds were not the best-

It is a fair hotel, generally clean and quite. In the late night, there were some drunk people walking down the isle making noise.

Close to airport with onsite parking and clean shuttle to the terminal. Building and room were showing age. Paint pealing on the ceiling of the room. Could use a refresh. Continental breakfast is stretching it a bit. Don’t bother and get something at the airport. For the price, you get what you pay for.

Superb

Breakfast and breakfast room were excellent.

An okay stay if you are catching a morning flight. Take offs and landings right over the Inn.

Nonr

Super clean and the bar Nothing

Staff in hotel restaurant were awesome. I wouldn’t call it breakfast. Room smelled like mildew, bathroom was dirty as it gets. Floor was sticky from lord knows what and there was hair in our sink that we noticed the first time we walked into bathroom. Not the way I wanted to relax after driving 5 hours to stay at this hotel.

Good overnight stay airport shuttle

The late check in time is awful. I had a very special event to attend at 6pm and couldn’t get an earlier check in… not even an hour earlier. Of course I had no time to relax until I had to leave for the event. I tried to call ahead after I landed 3 hours earlier to see if even an hour earlier was possible to check in and was told No. I’ve stayed there many times in the past but it’s my last time.

Very poor

Very good

The staff was very friendly and being close to the airport was very convenient. My only complaint was that the bathroom door stuck to the floor mid swing. I had to try to walk around it so I can use the sink.

NA Location and noise.

Good Na

Superb

Good food and helpful staff in the cafe/bar. Breakfast was available before 0600.
