The Saco Motel

The staff were wonderful! The room was extraordinarily clean! Our grandchildren had a fun time at the beautiful pool! We will definitely stay at this motel again!

Stopped here overnight on our way further north. Very well situated right off the highway and close to coastal destinations. The room seemed to be recently furnished and was spotlessly clean. Couldn't have been happier with our stay!

We were visiting Portland for the day and an overnight during a long road trip. We originally were going to stay right in Portland, but about choked on the prices. The Saco Motel had really good reviews and a great price, so we thought we would give it a shot. I am usually pretty leery of Motels (vs. Hotels), but since it was only for one night, I made an exception. I am so glad I did! We probably saved over $200 by staying here instead of right in the heart of Portland. The location turned out to be great for us as it was very close to a super cute little town and wine/cocktail bar with great food and right by the interstate to get on the road the next morning. But most importantly... the Motel was very clean and very nice. MUCH better than I was expecting! I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again if we are ever in the area!

Quaint, small but nice pool Staff asked I not grill in the parking lot due to lack of fire insurance. I was 20 feet from the building. I didn't argue about it and respected their policy, I just think this sort of motel ought to allow it.

Coffee was available in the lobby and yummy clementines! Fresh fruit is always a plus!!

Checking in was very pleasant. The airconditioner was pretty noisy.

Staff was extremely friendly and helpful upon arrival. The room was clean and lighting was great. I loved the mini fridge that had a freezer section to it. A strip charger was supplied at the bedside table and was very nice to have for charging devices. Sink had a slow drain and the shower was so small (I kept worrying about flooding the bathroom although that did not happen lol) Bed was adequate but not very comfortable. TV was so small, but it was still nice to have with lots of channels and a guide.

Very clean and friendly staff, but the bed and pillows are like concrete and the walls are so thin, a snoring neighbor on one side, and a little kid screaming and banging on the connection door on the other side, kept us up LITERALLY ALL NIGHT Concrete bed, flat pillows, and thin walls.

Room is clean and comfortable. Price and value are excellent. The shower stall is kind of on the small size. There was a plastic bag over the smoke detector.
