This place was exactly what we needed. We came for a baseball tournament. The staff was amazingly friendly to the whole team. The kids pretty much took over the whole hotel. The pool was great, the location was right off the highway and close to restaurants. For the price this is unbeatable. If you’re coming for any kind of a baseball tournament, you don’t want to spend a boatload of money. This is your spot. They roll out of grill for us and we grilled in the parking lot for two days straight. The parents hung out. The kids hung out. It was a really good home town vibe. Thank you again!

We really enjoyed our stay. The location was convenient and the room itself was very cute and had everything we could have needed, including cookware for the stove, coffee, and access to a range of streaming services. It was clean and the staff were friendly.

Amber was amazing. We came in after hours and she had our room opened for us. She is super friendly and communicated with us throughout our travels making sure we were ok and understanding the check in process. The room was super clean, beds were very comfortable and bathrooms spotless. We will be returning

Clean room. Great front desk service. Best bang for your buck near Saco/OOB. Right on the trolley line that takes you right to the beach. Already planning my next trip back in a few months. Why pay double some where else save your money for more important things and book your stay at the Wagon Wheel.

the room looked good and yet there were crumbs on one bed sheet and the other bed sheet did not look as if it had been changed. It was too late to contact the office. The soap was very tiny to wash with. For the low price it seems we got what we paid for.

Room was clean and staff were friendly

The first room had a ciggy smell. The second cabin had sewer/septic issues. It had that acrid smell. Made me sick. Played havoc with my repiratory system. Maybe mold too. No cable tv. Just penurious wifi tv. Blinds were transparent. Window on door had none. Parking area was full of ditches.

The lady at the front desk opened the pool for the kids, gave us extra towels & toilet paper as well. She was very kind. There were some folks outside in the evening sitting on the entryway to the rooms (sidewalk), playing music & drinking. One of the folks stayed that they worked there. We were aware of the fact that this was a non smoking property but due to the music & drinking, we politly asked if it was ok of we had a cigarette standing next to our vehicle. Instead of just stating yes or no, they were kinda rude stating "I smoke cigars & I didn't bring them" & another stating "this is a non smoking place." As I stated, we were aware of the fact that it was indeed a non smoking property & only politely asked a question due to their behavior, all they had to do was answer politically with a yes or no answer instead of being rude about it. Other than that, the staff & the room was amazing!

Our stay was great. It was a nice place to sleep and close to all the locations we wanted to explore. It was a cozy stay and the woman I was communicating with was very friendly. The motel room itself was a little old and not well lit. They did a nice job decorating but you can tell there are some fixes that need to be done. But hey, overall, I would recommend it to someone, it’s just a cozy affordable place to stay.
