It was convenient and close to train station. It is dated and needs some renovation.

Staff had good customer service. I travel with my dog and made us feel welcome. Water in the room was provided. The cost of the lodging was good too. I will stay there again when visiting the area.

The staff were friendly and professional! The rooms were good but could use a little more cleaning. The full breakfast advertised on expedia, was more continental, with exception to the eggs and sausage in a serving tray (covered). The area around the hotel was a little sketchy, with many homeless hanging around.

The area wasn't the best and there was some random people arguing in two cars in the back. It seemed they knew someone that worked at hotel. Was not a good look for the hotel and was scary

I'll talk about the hotel after I talk about the neighborhood. A lot of homeless people are hanging around the Arco station adjacent to the hotel and the Shell gas station across the street. As we arrived and were parking our car, an employee from the Arco was chasing a woman who had an armful of bottles of wine. She ended up dropping several of the glass bottles and made off with one. That's when he stopped chasing her. Of course I have empathy, but just something to be aware of when staying at this group of hotels. That said, I would definitely stay at this hotel again. They do have secured parking behind a gate and it is very well lit. The buffet breakfast was delicious and the ladies always had fresh coffee and replaced the eggs and sausage well before they ran out. There was also serial, bagels, yogurt, and the option to make your own waffles. I want to say again that the coffee was actually very good! The room was Modern and was very spacious. We had a junior suite with a king bed. The staff was super friendly and helpful if we needed anything additional . The location of the hotel wasn't far from Golden 1 Center, where we were attending a concert and was also close to Old Town. I only gave a 4 out of 5 stars because of the immediate neighborhood. We were pleasantly surprised, however, that it was very quiet later in the evening as we were expecting possible rowdiness, which never happened.

Super clean and best breakfast

The bed was comfortable. It was right next to a gas station in a very bad neighborhood. There was trash everywhere outside. We had to listen to boom cars all night. The police were called to the location due to homeless people.

Parking is limited and there is enough for one car per room. The tv controller in our room unfortunately didn’t work properly. Limited options for breakfast but it was good food It’s in a great location as we were able to walk back from the old Sacramento Waterfront.
