There were no towels in the bathroom. There wasn't a trash can in the room. We stayed for one night, and were woken up early Sunday morning to the loud sounds of banging and construction, complete with power tools, all the way up till checkout time. While I understand things need to be done, perhaps wait till 11 when checkout happens to begin such loud, disruptive activities. Also the TV didn't work. And I was offered late checkout, I accepted it, and then was told I couldn't have it. What was the point of offering it?

bathroom and in the bathtub I will never stay there again the room even smelled like cockroach spray not as bad as the elevator but still bad the whole place needs to have a tent put on it and fumigated I will never stay in another Howard Johnson no matter what

Nothing The staff was very unprofessional!!! They refused to give towels and blankets!!! There was roaches all over the room!!

The only problem I had was they were installing a new floor in the unit directly above my room and from 8 AM on there was constant hammering on my ceiling which was extremely loud. When I checked out at the front desk they said there was nothing they could do as far as any compensation because I booked through a third party.

The people working at the reception are rude. The behavior and how they received me, I slept there for months and suddenly a Mexican who is racist behaved badly with me and made fun of me.
