Quality Inn & Suites Sacramento Downtown Area

I initially thought the smell would improve once I got to my room, but unfortunately, the room was even worse. The smoke odor was so strong that I slept in my clothes and placed one of my own towels over the pillows because everything smelled like smoke. By the time I left, even my luggage and clothing had absorbed the smell. I had to wash everything when I got home, including items I hadn’t even worn. Again, the staff were genuinely kind, but the condition and overwhelming smoke odor of the hotel made for a very uncomfortable stay. I would not stay here again unless the smoking issue is seriously addressed.

Clean room

Staff changed room rather than replace a broken tv/remote. New "non-smoking" room smelled like an ashtray. Whole facility smelled like cigarettes and pot. Breakfast was poor.

Only a 5 minute drive to downtown. Not a lot of variety for Breakfast. Something small and quick for on the go like cereal, yogurt, muffin, toast/waffle. Room was decent. Definitely signs of wear and tear. The AC smelled like urine when on or heater was on. Staff was friendly and very helpful!

Bathroom was super small. The door rests on the curved shower bar so you have to sit angled on the toilet. I think there was supposed to be a lotion dispenser by the sink, but instead there was a Conditioner dispenser. So if you wash your hands, you use the Conditioner soap. Building was super loud. You hear EVERYTHING like the walls were paper thin so you won't get much sleep. Staff was loud. Like they have airpods, but they talk to each other over their music so they are loud. Front desk was rude. Had an argument with the customer before us. Complimentary breakfast is basically yogurt (which was 1 week expired), white bread that you could toast, fruit, cereal from a dispenser, and a pour and flip waffle (this was my highlight). Room key was deactivated while getting "breakfast." Night table drawer face came off while trying to open to see if anything was left in there. Loads of zombies walking around the area. They have barbed wire on the perimeter gate. We just needed a place to store bags and sleep for 2 days. 1 out of 2 isn't bad, but definitely not worth the $$.

It was terrible. The water went off, didn’t tell us warning or nothing and we had to get another hotel to shower.

Close to downtown There was a smell to the room. There was homeless but they were not in the parking lot.

The cleaning ladies were very nice and helpful. The lady that checked us in was not friendly or helpful. The hotel had a bad smell like cigarette smoke overwhelming. Very nice towels sorry won’t be staying here again.

Bathroom to small , the door was in the shower. Poor design here you go.

Disappointing

Perfect location

Place was fine. We popped in for the night to catch a flight. We’ve stayed before because of proximity to Sacramento Airport. Each time it’s been to a clean comfortable room. We never stayed late in day or multiple nights. The price and location are what we’ve deemed as most beneficial

I liked the location I didn't like that the room where I stayed smelled terrible of cigarettes and marijuana (you're not supposed to smoke inside). The floor was dirty and the TV didn't work. The breakfast was very basic and not at all healthy as you say.

The room was nice and clean, good amenities.

They hold your deposit for 10 days after it's been completed through your bank. That's even if they get it to you at all. Also upon checking in I was never given a receipt for my deposit charges either
