SureStay Plus Hotel by Best Western Sacramento North

There are many homeless people around the hotel, and the Denny's restaurant next door is a disaster—I don't recommend going there. The Black woman who checked me in gave me a room that was already occupied; luckily, when I opened the door, no one was inside—otherwise, I could have gotten into serious trouble. I expected some sort of gesture from the staff member or the hotel to make up for such a huge mistake, but all I got was a simple "I'm sorry." I wouldn't recommend this hotel.

Unfortunately, I had to come and stay at this one that I’ve never stayed up before horrible experience. The flat sheet was stained, and two towels were stained as well. It had a stench of mold in there. There’s nothing but dope heads all around the property the pool was filthy. Disgusting and when I went to check out to tell them that there was a stain on the flat sheet and stains on of the towels they disregarded it but then I looked at my credit card statement and they charged me $40 saying oh there was a stained flat sheet and two stained towel which I had already told them about the people that worked there are not on top of it. I would not suggest anybody to come and stay there it was at the last moment that I had to go and stay at this hotel.

First off its crackhead central ...roaches dirty ass pool food was terrible ..10 outta 10 do not recommend

It was permanently in one mode. The hall ways going to the rooms were nasty. The room as ummmmm.

The property grounds were terrible garbage and dog poop everywhere and the pool area was not clean either

The woman at the front desk was unfriendly and unwilling to help. She was extremely unprofessional and rude. She shared no information about the property, like pool and breakfast times. The property is located right off the highway but in a sketchy area. I wouldn’t recommend staying here even though the price can be tempting.

When we arrived, we found the property surrounded by a secured gate with several homeless individuals camped outside. The front desk staff were friendly, but the office smelled terrible and was very run down. Before unloading our luggage, we checked the room. The parking lot had several loud people hanging around, making it feel more like a party spot than a hotel. The room was dark and dingy, even with all the lights on. The mattress was completely enclosed in a zippered cover, but the cover itself looked dirty. The bathroom had a dead bug in the corner and hair on the toilet. We immediately requested a refund and left to book another hotel. Because we booked through Expedia, we spent over a week going back and forth with customer service, only to be told they wouldn't refund us because the reservation was "non-refundable." Expedia offered only a $25 credit. Expedia completely misrepresented this property and then refused to stand behind their listing. We never stayed in the room because it did not feel clean or safe. This experience has convinced us not to use Expedia again.

The hotel was clean and neat. The breakfast was good. Staff were friendly

I would not stay here again the air conditioning didn’t work at all and they refused to move us rooms or refund us. There were people screaming outside all night. The security guard came to deal with it multiple times. It was dirty. The hotel was supposed to be dog friendly for our service dog but no where to take the dog out on the property. You had to go outside the gate where there were several homeless people and dark areas, it wasn’t safe.

No restroom in the lobby

My roommate arrived one day earlier than me and she rated the place as okay. As for me the air conditioner was noisy, the free breakfast was good and the area was clean. Outside the gated property you will see stragglers.
