SpringHill Suites by Marriott Saginaw

Easy to locate, the staff was great allowed us to check in a little early, breakfast was great as well.

The stay was nice. Excellent staff, nice breakfast and ample parking. My room had a vinyl headboard that was ripped and cracked and the bathroom sink wouldn’t drain well. I reported that.

Pool, two out of three ice machine and laundry were broken. Peeling wall paper and head boards. No guide available for the tv. No place to sit and eat or play games. Suites only in name. People next door set off smoke detector because of cooking in a personal appliance. Alarm rang 45 minutes before staff went to the room, open the door, and stopped the alarm. Our room smelled like grease for several hours.

So had switch rooms then moved to new room and this evening for 3rd time since yesterday had switch rooms cuz ac wasnt working now im n 3 rd room amd sheets was dirty had crumbs in the bed and we r itching I have 1 more night here n its been horrible so far so thinking going to leave n morning n go somewhere else problem is 3 hotels rt here are all same management So thinking i will go to bay city Because the itching is worrisome And i dont want to switch rooms for a 4 th time Horrible experience even in a great area this place is horrible Suppose to be a 4 star motel And the pool is out of service and being stuck n a motel 3 nights a 4 days was kinda the point renting from a “ nice “ motel w a pool Rooms need maintance not just one but multiple and Unfortunately not very clean Appearance from first look until u get into the room and there should not be crumbs in bed i had ask floor to be vacuumed i ended up cleaning my room w bleach clean up and disinfectant wipes asked for clean bedding changed my own beds and change my own sheets Horrible experience and beware …. 3 motels rt next to it are same management

The lobby seemed clean & breakfast was good. The uncleanliness, the mold in the shower, the dirty carpet, the smell of food I didn’t cook in my room both days. The broken hot tub.

Decent gym

The front desk employee was very professional and made me feel welcomed! We had a minor issue with the reservation but she rectified the situation. Five stars for her! The sitting area (counch and ottoman) in my assigned room (312) was very dirty - there were stains all over the couch. We had to use sheets to cover it before it could be used. Other than that, my stay was fine. They just need to clean the couch and ottoman.

Good quality, but must provide better breakfast

Everything except the door to our room. Keycard worked fine but the door locks were from hell. Couldn’t get it opened or closed without working on it for a long time. See above. The rest of the hotel was great!

Goof

Convenient location. Close to the campus helped. The room was a little dirty. Stains on the couch. Was a hair in the bed.

I was pretty disappointed. I booked a King Suite. I ended up with an handicap accessible room. The bathroom floor and shower were all in one. It looked like a gym room shower with mold. The fridge still had someone’s food in it and there were scratches on the headboard. I went to see if I could change room. The front desk person laughed and said, “Oh you got an accessible room. We don’t have any other rooms available”. Very disappointed. I’ve stayed here in the past when I come to town. Won’t be doing that again. I’ll be reaching out to hotels.com to see about getting a partial refund.

I felt really comfortable in the room, the couch and bed was very comfortable. I wish the bathroom had brighter lights. And I kept feeling a cool draft in room.... even with the heater on.i wish more movies channel was free.

Oversll shaby place eith the worst front desk person I have ever encountered

Someone tried to get into our room - they opened the dead bolt but the latch stopped them. We called the front desk. He came apologized said he saw nothing but would have mgmt get back to us and review cameras. We checked out in our pjs at 11pm and they will NOT give us a refund. They said it was the front desk guy and it was an accident. WTH ... Why wouldn't he have said that then ....

Clean room. Front desk night staff was friendly. Good location.
