Everything was good I love the breakfast it was great. The room was nice and clean. But over all I love the building. People with frowns on their face .A smile will not kill you. Some of the staff needs to be more friendly some not all looks like they are having a bad day not knowing what the next person got going on or why they drive 2.5 hrs to St.Louis every month. I don't like bad ENERGY.

Great location, great price, friendly staff, we always stay here when we come down to St. Louis.

The room was clean, large, and very comfortable. It was quiet and easy to get to all the sites we wanted to see. Breakfast was plentiful and varied. Highly recommend this hotel!

Let me start with the pros: great location! This hotel is right across the street from Forest Park, which is home to the incredible zoo, the science center, art museum and history museum. We love the ability to walk to the zoo. The hotel has coffee and tea available 24/7 which is great for me as an extremely early riser. The front desk staff are very pleasant and helpful. Now for the cons: the breakfast is truly disappointing. It’s all super processed food like items and the waste level is diabolical. Everything is served on paper plates which plastic cups and utensils. They so desperately don’t want to wash dishes that the oatmeal was inside of a large PLASTIC bag inside the cooker!! Who doesn’t love a little plastic with their breakfast. I truly wish they would pay their employees a little extra to wash breakfast dishes and eliminate as much waste as possible. Speaking of breakfast, the breakfast attendants are for the most part just not friendly. I was never once greeted by one of them and I overhead a very loud phone conversation one was having in the early morning about how a homeless woman had broken into the managers office and peed on the floor! You’d think that’s a detail they would want to spare the guests. Lastly, the room wasn’t the cleanest. It was fine, but I guess you get what you pay for. Considering the cost and the location I will likely stay again and just be sure I go next door to Comet for breakfast instead of utilizing the free food at the hotel.

However, chunks of hair stuck to us as we exited the pool & we found adult lice in my daughter's hair on morning #4, which was very inconvenient to treat on the road home.
-
Very friendly staff The breakfast area was very chaotic. There was nowhere to sit down to eat, as tables and chairs were all full and they stayed that way. Ended up having to take our food to our room to eat. Also, the pool area was overflowing with people. There were clearly more people in the actual pool that should have been allowed.

Friendly staff. Comfortable beds! Only thing we didn’t like was the shower head.

Bright, clean with good breakfast A little bit expensive, parking was extra.
-
Very spacious and clean The fact that you could only turn the air down in the rooms to 67 and it was hot all night
-
Location Parking was a little far away

The air conditioner unit could have been quieter.

Breakfast Pool (dirty, cloudy, small, crowded). Rooms aren't cleaned often enough. Shower didn't work right and was very loud. Very loud/noisy A/C
-
Friendly staff. Great breakfast. Beautiful hotel all around. My kids loved the pool. Can't wait for our next trip to the zoo

The staff was great and the location of the hotel was perfect. The pool area was a free for all and was in need of supervision.
