Hilton Garden Inn San Antonio Airport

The AC to the common areas was off. The elevators were off - 4 story walk-up!! My tv did not work the first night and I was not offered another room or a discount. The whirlpool feature in the tub did not work - the ONLY reason I book this property. The "incidentals" charge of 50$ was not returned for the second night, even though I had 2 separate reservations and was charged 2 50$ charges. An amazing property I used to enjoy has been run into the ground by the money grubbing new owners greed. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!! I got a rash from the non working whirlpool tub that required doctor visits and prescriptions.

Elevator inoperable and has been that way for some time prior to the stay.

Shampoo was empty in our room. We tried to cancel the second night of our reservation due to the condition of the hotel but the hotel Manager was unavailable and unaccommodating.

Elevators have been broken, apparently for a long time. The pool is broken, apparently for a long time. The main area seemed stuffy. The rooms at least had good AC and were as clean as could be given the overall conditions.

****NO WORKING ELEVATOR***** It was not disclosed until we were checking in. They had a sign on the desk saying its closed without an ETA for when it will be fixed. From what they said it has been over a month. I am disabled so there is no way I could stay on the 3rd floor. I thought this would be a nice property since it is a "Hilton Garden" The fridge was small and had no freezer. The ice maker on the 1st floor was broken and removed, you had to get help or go upstairs They acted like I should just be ok or cancel. They just didn't seem to care that we purposely chose this property because of the jetted tub.

It was quiet. Vegan style breakfast -- not my forte, Elevator didn't work. Shower handle was broke. Had to step over an 19 inch high wall to get into the shower. Should have been a stool there to help. I almost fell.

Well what I didn’t like that they were charging us 2 extra rooms and charge us again when you guys had already charged us still trying to talk to somebody about the charge

This hotel was the worst Hilton I’ve ever been to. The evaluator was broken and they had no time frame of when they would be fixed. There was no ac in the halls or lobby. I had to walk up 4 flights of stairs every time. I ended up canceling my two night stay. The man at the front desk was nice and helpful.

Staff walked in without knocking; was in bed and startled me. Then continued even when I asked who they were. Also no working elevators. Room pricing not worth it. Sadly I thought I chose a previous location nearby. Was not impressed.

Pleasant

The staff was very friendly. The hotel itself was not in great shape. The elevators were broken, ice machines were broken, much of the exercise equipment had out of order signs posted. The pool was closed for maintenance for a whole day during the weekend. It was just not up to the standard Hilton hotels usually are when we have stayed at Hilton hotels in the past.
