Best Western Inn & Suites San Diego – Zoo/SeaWorld Area

Property, room, location, amenities, pool, breakfast, all for such an affordable price and great level of service. Would definitely recommend for families with young children and will be back again with mine!

Place was clean. Mattress could use an update. Breakfast was good but took way too long the way it’s set up. Not enough seating. The staff was great and they work really hard. Parking was a little crazy if you come late you are out on the back area and you have to pay for it which is ridiculous in my opinion. Even $10 max would be acceptable….if you are in the garage.

Our room had a terrible smell that originates from the ac/heating unit. We even took out the filter and cleaned it, but that didn’t help. Otherwise, we were lucky that the weather was so nice so that we can keep the window open all day for our entire stay. The breakfast was good, the pool was good and the staff was kind and helpful.

The staff was excellent but the property needs upkeep. It is musky, it has a weird smell in the halls and rooms. The windows need to be replaced in the rooms, the noise from the freeway can be heard at night. The room was missing microwave and the fan was not working in the bathroom. Pull out couch mattress was terrible, I could not use it at all, ended up sleeping on the actual couch. Location is good but many homeless around. Breakfast was great but very chaotic (we went on 4th of July weekend so I guess it was to be expected). Bedding was old and so were pillows. Overall the staff did their best but the property and elements in the hotel itself need upgrading.

We had the best stay - staff was amazing and helpful , breakfast was chefs kiss and best part is how close it is to amusement parks and Old town San Diego . I would 100% recommend this place especially the room with 2 queen beds and a bunk bed if you have children with you

Overall the stay was comfortable. There was a blood stain on one of the bed sheets so that was not pleasant also our room didn't have one of the ac units working so it did get stuffy on the main room but wasn't a big deal.

This is a good property if you are going to Sea World, saying that, very crowded, and parking tight, making it really not relaxing. especially if you are not going to the places the hotel is close to. Pool also crowded, so makes it useless, and being on the 4th floor had poor internet services.

I will never make a reservation to this hotel. The room was unsatisfied for the sixth guest the mattress from the sofa bed. It was really bad and I will not recommend this hotel. Never close to Seaworld.

Everything was amazing

The first morning we didn't have any protein for breakfast just carbs and im a diabetic smh no meat no eggs just waffles toast cereal and hard oranges that wasn't ripe yet. The yogurt machine was out of order, the coffee was bitter and too strong... your manager needs to do better! I complained and all I was told by staff is that they're waiting for the order of food from the manager

2nd time staying here. It’s now my families favorite for visiting san diego

We checked in and the parking is TIGHT we have a truck and we were worried going through the lot. They are doing some construction I guess cause the 3rd floor had some plastic and stuff down. The elevator wasn’t very big so there was always people waiting. The room its self was ok the bed was comfortable. The shower didn’t keep the water in so we kept needed towels to wipe up the water. A big reason I booked this hotel was because it has a breakfast. Not worth it. There was zero proteins, no eggs or anything. Only waffles, cereal and bread. The coffee was ok but there were no other drinks I tried to get Apple juice and there were black specs in it so I threw it out. The pool was very nice! We swam for awhile. Not anything else to do at the hotel really.
