The Alcala Hotel Mission Valley/Seaworld

The property appears to have been renovated. Bathroom has a smell like sitting water or mildew odor and the bathroom was not thoroughly cleaned.

U happy with my stay. No hot water in shower and shower pressure sucked. No hand soap or toiletries in shower. Called front desk but was never helped. The bed wasn't the greatest either.

Bathroom smells really bad and the sink water was stuck didn’t go down to the drain. Breakfast was no so good.

The only thing that needs to be updated is the jacuzzi. The chlorine of the jacuzzi in this hotel was so strong that you can still smell even you already washed the swimsuit you wore. Then , itches your skin

The area was nicely tucked away and was in a pretty safe area. Some sheets did have stains as well as the body wash provided was broken off the wall, but there was a nice TV with all you needed on it. Overall clean and cheap so can’t complain much.

Room was clean. Very cozy bed. Elevator was a bit slow but everything else was well maintained. Best part was the hotel breakfast. It was freshly made every morning and I loved the food. Didn’t feel like I would have to eat outside.

Check in was quick and easy. Shower was hot. The bed was pretty comfortable and the AC was cold. There was a nice range of options for breakfast, the waffles were tasty. Overall, I had a very nice experience during my stay.. would return.

Clean room, close to freeways, breakfast was really good for being free. Price is right for the room.

Stayed with my son for 3 days, excellent staff and very helpful. One of the things that we thought is not really good and needs improvement would be the provided shampoo for us for 3 days stay is one small sachet of shampoo and 1 small sachet lotion which I didnt expect so I recommend some to bring their own shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Food are OK!

The beds were clean, but that was it. There was hair all over the shower. There was toothpaste and other stuff all over the front of the counter. The pack and play was also dirty and smelled. The handsoap and body wash were all gone. There was extremely loud banging that woke the family at 5am. They had cool furniture and style, but not our favorite place.
