Such a great little find!!

This is a property undergoing new owners they are doing a great job of cleaning this place up the rooms and facilities are clean , staff is helpful and friendly . Pool area is well kept & maintained breakfast was good and they seem to practice good sanitation which I highly appreciate

We had a good stay at the Alcala Hotel. The breakfast was good, and we enjoyed the pool and hot tub. The only downside was that the toilet leaked a little bit. Other than that, everything was great, and we would stay here again.

Location & price

Staff were friendly and the parking lot was secured with gates for entry and exit. I felt safe as a female solo traveler. The room did have a sort of mildew smell and the sheets felt like sandpaper. For the price point, the quality met expectations

Clean room, breakfast, staff was great. I thought, though, that the place would be cleaned up and the bed made for our second night but none of that was done and clean towels were not given the second night. Even the first night there was only one wash cloth and hand towel provided.

Too old and employees inattentive

Staff was so kind. We asked for extra towels and they brought them up no problem. The room was nicer than expected it even had a smart tv. Pool was amazing. Definitely recommend. The breakfast was ok but everything else was great.

No microwave in room but overall my kids enjoyed the stay good amenities for the price

Be prepared to have personal items like a hair dryer, shower cap, hair conditioner, but everything strictly necessary was provided. I really liked that it is fenced closed area and it felt safe for children. There was a huge line for the waffles at the breakfast and by the time it’s your turn there is no mo batter and they don’t refill because it’s past time, so you have to make sure you go early enough. Overall my family had a great stay and we liked it there. We didn’t use it, but there was a pool and a great relaxing area, a fitness room, and laundry. The beds were comfortable. Thank you!

Need hair dryer on rooms and a little more variety on breakfast cheese bacon ham will be perfect

Dislike the breakfast

Just know you get what you pay for in this area. It was ok. The towels are small if you’re over 110 pounds, you’re by the freeway so it’s not quiet. Walls are thin so you hear every bang outside.. pillows aren’t comfy, there aren’t any tubs (even though the employee said there was) , prepare to wait 30 min for a waffle in line. Now for the good: the staff was super helpful, we called for extra towels and blow dryer and they came right up. The place is clean, the area is central.

Basic motel with basic amenities.

I had a wonderful experience. Slept well, felt secure and relaxed. Friendly staff . Clean room and clean bathroom. Will stay here again

Friendly staff, good breakfast, and overall clean rooms and facilities. The rooms are pretty minimalistic, but perfect for a night. The is shampoo and body wash offered, but the body wash was empty and so was the bottle of hand soap at the sink. There was a bar soap offered in place of the empty bottles, but I would not rely on provided toiletries just to be safe.

Simple, for an overnight stay. Clean and friendly. Breakfast was chaotic. Didn’t like cold shower or that the phone was not connected.

Is old building, nice, just a little more effort in the smell, great stay, staff friendly and great, great job
