Best Western Plus Hacienda Hotel Old Town

When we went in the room The Whole room smells like liquor.

Michelle was wonderful. Helped us check in. She was great at multi tasking and helping multiple people at once. Javiar gave us a free appetizer coupon.

Clean room, staff were amazing and location was great!

Location is excellent, walking distance to everything Old Town has to offer. 10-15 minute walk from the Old Town transit hub. Nice free breakfast buffet at their rooftop restaurant which offers eggs, bacon or sausage,

El personal no fue muy amable. Parecía que le hacen un favor a uno de atender. Incómodo no tenían quien ayuda con las maletas. Limpieza muy mal. El desayuno solo hasta las 9:30 y todo medio sucio con grasa.. check in a las 4 pm check out 11am ! La piscina chiquita no hay baño ni ducha ninguna atención.

Lovely stay, only 8 hrs for airport overnight.Breakfast buffet was a nice surprise and very good. Staff helpful and very pleasant.

Sofa couch was very old and small. Needs an update for sure. Tried sitting on it as a normal couch and cushions were horrible. Lots of stairs, couldn't use the luggage trolley all the way to the room had to leave it at the stairs and carry all the luggage up 2 flights of stairs

Enjoyed my one night stay at this best western. Room had the appropriate amenities and was clean. Staff was helpful in guiding me through the hotel as it is a very large property with different sections and levels . Please be aware that you need to pay for parking per night

The location and the hotel buildings, very nice looking. The parking lots.

Ana at the front desk was very friendly and helpful.

Airport shuttle, breakfast, pool and hot tub was nice.

The property architecture and location are great!. We had a problem with the bathroom sink and needed to move to other room. Breakfast is great while last (go early). Coffee machine in lobby is amazing... Swimming pool is very good, great views.

The hotel grounds were beautiful and well kept. The staff was wonderful. Our room left something to be desired. There was trash and dust under the vanities in the bathroom and food crumbs behind the sleeper sofa. Normally I wouldn’t be looking there but it was pulled away from the wall because that is where the plug is, so I had to look. My main complaint was the beds! There were so uncomfortable! You could feel every spring in the mattress! Because of the beds, I will find somewhere else to stay. Which sucks because it is a beautiful property in a beautiful area.

Great location- charming facilities So large!! And lots of stairs. With a walking boot it was a bit challenging to navigate

This place is poorly maintained. Roof tiles cracked, Sloppy paint and grouping jobs in the bathrooms. Also signs to get around a very complicated site are abysmal. At least the room had no surface dirt and breakfast was good.

Family trip to San Diego. I've stayed in different places before in SD but this was the first time staying near old town and the hotel was definitely near Old Town. The Hacienda style made the stay feel like you were at a resort. It was nice to just walk around with the kids. The pool was a little small but it was perfect for a four year old and one year old. The breakfast was better than we expected. It was included in the price and I was expecting waffles and cereal but they had a legit Mexican breakfast. Parking is technically free, if you decide to park in the lot next to the hotel. They charge per night If you park in the hotel parking. They also have free tea, coffee and hot chocolate in the lobby. We would stay here again.

We got the room we wanted. We had an attack of ants in the bathroom. And we were over looking the pool and the kids were quite loud at 8 in the morning.
