Reviews

Staff was responsive and hotel was nice.
-
I loved the balcony room we upgraded to. The room was big and the beds were comfortable.
-
Rooms have Feng Shui vibes. Bright, cheery modern. The staff is the nicest, most helpful. Lobby has 99.9% of the incidentals you may have left at home. The 1-star less is just because if no box of tissues or laundry bag in the room, and breakfast was missing a protein. Generosity and service greatly appreciated.
-
The breakfast room is the size of a closet with no room to sit down. Your choices are pretty much a waffle or oatmeal. The staff is nice but let let breakfast be the deciding factor. They charge $15.00 for parking which is tight to maneuver if you have a truck or large vehicle.

Always a great stay here! Clean, friendly staff, quiet, nice.
-
Parking was $15 but free street parking. Don't let the exterior fool you, seems the rooms were upgraded. We were able to pay for early checkin and enjoy the suite. Would totally stay there again.

Great hotel with excellent staff. It will do the trick nicely for a short stay in old town. The location is suburb and The room are spacious- For the price, the hotel is excellent. The breakfast is very basic either a waffle or cereal which is ok. The bed was squeaky when turning around. And it can be noisy when people come back from a party night but that is expected.

Easy check in and check out. Rooms were clean, did have an elevator. Breakfast offered had waffles and cereal, with toast or bagel, juices and coffee. Pleasant outside seating area. Meet some nice travelers there. Parking is available inside for a fee, it is tight. Street parking is available first come first park. Is walking distance to Old Town. Beds we're comfortable. Tub/shower is available. Plenty of space in the room with fridge and coffee maker. Nice, quiet area. Would stay here again.

Less than a mile from Old Town and Amtrak station a big plus. King bed room clean and comfortable. Breakfast included was good. Furniture and bed functional, but a bit worn and dated.
-
Very clean, easy walk to Old Town

The A/C unit was a bit loud, but that's OK as it muffled the sounds of people coming to their room later at night. I did not partake of the free breakfast and opted to go across the street to the Courtyard Marriott for coffee in the morning. Nothing wrong with what was offered, that's just my preference. I would stay there again.

Location Staff
-
Location is a benefit for this hotel. Room was clean but a little dated. A window was cracked the length of the window. Notified front desk and they were aware of it but not sure when they plan to repair. Place was quiet and the staff was helpful. Continental breakfast has limited options. We stay in San Diego about three times a year and like staying at different places. Looking forward to next stay but pretty sure it will not be at this hotel.

Location was great The parking garage is very small, not for larger vehicles
-
The hotel overall is run-down. The floors in the walkways are uneven because of water damage. The floors in the rooms are chipped and ripped. The beds were nice and the bathroom was nice. The parking garage was low and our truck couldn’t fit (which isn’t their fault) but finding on-street parking was very difficult and the roads are so narrow with parked vehicles that only 1 car could pass at a time. The continental breakfast consisted of a room as big as a closet with juice, tiny mini-muffins (like 5), Frosted Flakes, Cheerios, and 2 waffle machines. Only 3 people could fit in the room at a time. We paid extra for a hotel that offered breakfast and it was incredibly disappointing.

We reserved 3 rooms and all were clean and well maintained.

Staff was friendly and helpful, especially a lady who gave us recommendations for Tijuana, and a gentleman who helped me with coins and instructions for the laundry room. In fact, I was very happy that they have a laundry room! They allowed us to leave our luggage for a couple of days in the weekend, and for a few hours after checkout. The wifi was patchy. The breakfast options were very limited

It was good

The blonde lady has a permanent stank face. The Latina lady with an accent was very professional and cordial. Again, blonde lady was short with us and seemed annoyed to have to check us in. She gave monotone and annoyed information.

It’s located within walking distance to old town Everything was great about the property. There’s nothing I don’t like.
