Fairfield Inn & Suites San Diego Old Town

Nice room at a good price. Good neighborhood with several dining options within walking distance. Easy freeway access.

Not worth the price

Really liked everything about the place. Close to all the shops and restaurants close to transportation great views from the balcony everyone was helpful courteous and professional and the breakfast was delicious I would recommend to anyone

Nice location- 10 mins walk to old town and tour center! Hotel itself was good. Small room. Underground parking is convenient but it’s $31/day. Breakfast is complimentary. The AC in the room was the only thing i did not like, would wake up to it being 78 degrees in the room when AC should be on. Overall good hotel.

Room was clean. Breakfast had lots of options. The courtyard was beautiful with landscaping and we'll maintained. Location was close enough to Old Town station to walk, but not so close that there was a lot of foot traffic around the hotel itself. Would definitely stay again.

The staff was great. They changed our room with no problems. It was a safe environment.

Free breakfast was a plus. The staff were very nice all around. The actual room was pretty outdated, we found a used underwear behind the TV while trying to look for the remote.

The room was very dusty and dirty. Beds were hard. They said the recently renovated but putting a new blue coat of paint on 1 wall isn’t going to fix the several other issues. Housekeeping does not clean well at all. Not attention to details. The counters were very dusty as well as the fridge and coffee maker. Bathroom was run down just had a new coat of paint on 1 wall. As for the bedroom, the only thing new were the 2 chairs. The beds were old and hard. For the price not worth it.

The hotel breakfast was awful! they ran out of FOOD as well as coffee the oatmeal was swimming in liquid no eggs(there powdered))except weekends paper plates, bowls and plastic wear only THAT SOAK THROUGH! ONE LUGGAGE CART FOR THIS ENTIRE HOTEL IT WAS NEVER AVAILABLE THE ENTIRE STAY NEED TO ADD ADDITIONAL CARTS ALSO UPGRADE THE BREAKFAST ITEMS AND HAVE IT LATER THAN 9am they are serving until 9:30 on WEEKENDS ONLY IT WAS SHAMEFUL TO THE MARRIOTT FAMILY OF PROPERTIES ALSO NO SECURITY WHATSOEVER…..

During our checkout there was no one to be found at the front counter. Waited a good 10minutes and no one could locate the front counter staff.
