Air conditioner kept turning off the last night, but I opened the window and it cooled off. Shower pressure is strong! I took some videos and heard a whistle a couple of times. Was that Ysidora or Mr Bandini calling for the cat? Loved it and I’m pretty sure I’ll be back.

Interesting old style hotel but the outside noise(trains) is a problem for sleeping

It was awesome it was like you were back in time as you stay there. Staff was really great and helpful. Lots of great and fun shops as well as food all in walking distance.

Some freeway noise outside, but no bother to us. The Gracious and Welcoming manager checked us in. We really enjoyed our stay. Beautiful surroundings. Comfortable bed and spacious bath with enormous copper tub and walk in shower. The service is skimpy (keeps things quiet!)-you have to ask for fresh towels and to empty trash for a multiple day stay. Continental breakfast is traditional- minimal pastry and coffee. Cleanliness/maintenance floors need a wet mop and baseboards/windows need dusting.

We loved our stay. Brenda was absolutely wonderful. Highly recommend this little gem.

a unique historic property, pleasant courtyard and Old Town location, free parking was a big ++, but definitely needs some serious updating for the price. Stayed in Rm 4/5, bed was very comfortable, Victorian era bureau charming and appropriate, but other furniture worn and worn out - too much so to be charming. Had a separate sitting oom but no furniture in it hat was comfortable or inviting enough to want to sit on. breakfast had some tasty mini scones, coffee was good, but there was nothing else except oj (that is, literally, nothing else - no cereal, no yogurt, no toast, no fruit - i.e. nothing). Would not stay here again without improvements .

Amazing

Cleanliness: the room and furniture were great. Everything was orderly and I had plenty of towels and shower supplies. But the shower itself had mold and blackened grouting along the entirety of the bottom. Was kinda gross. Overall: the place has charm and it’s cool to have period furniture and fixtures. It was nice and quiet at night and I slept great. The complementary breakfast was light and tasty. Coffee, scones, and croissants. Just wish there was sugar put out for the coffee.

We had a great stay and the hotel staff was very friendly.

The room was clean and staff were professional and kind. The bed was a bit too firm for me but not too bad. I wish the bar was available for the guests when i stayed there. They were having a baby shower and bar closed too early

Room was quiet , bed comfortable did not miss TV at all. Sorry, no paranormal activity for us. We didn’t have a view in our room at all.
-
Lots of bars restaurants and shops nearby walking distance, a lot of historic areas
-
Incredibly charming, lovely old style and amazing patio. Right in the center of old town. Lovely staff and free parking. Both sheets and bed cover has very bad stains on them. Not so nice. Breakfast items were really bad. Quite pricey for the service.
-
No tv in the room but plenty of things to do.
-
Loved the location, rooms, breakfast, staff and price!
-
it was close to the train station which was perfect - kinda took us by surprise the location itself cause it was like in the middle of an active park but it was safe and nice. felt too public-y but it was was noted in property.
-
Cool place, but no restaurant and harmed to figure out how to check in. A better stay for someone on vacation.
-
Very cute historic building right inside old town and is a short walk to the trolley/buses at old town transit center. Staff are super friendly Beds have a weird plastic under the sheets. Makes a bunch of noise and feels strange to sleep on

A lovely room in a cozy hotel with a ton of ambiance. It's the 1870s, but with indoor plumbing and wifi!
