We loved Humphreys. It was beautiful and peaceful. Our one night stay quickly became two nights. The pool is awesome.

Just a beautiful hotel to go to and I’m going back.😊

We were also hoping for more of a relaxing adult getaway and didn’t realize how family-oriented the property would be. There were quite a few kids during our stay, and the hot tub was usually full of children, so we weren’t really able to enjoy that part of the resort. Overall, the property itself is beautiful and has a lot of potential, but updated rooms and a designated adults-only hot tub or quiet area would make the experience much better

Comfortable room and balcony to dry my scuba gear A bit noisy at night

Pool was great. The bed was very comfortable. Very relaxing place to stay

Found mold in the bathrooms refillable shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Email the front desk about it, they sent a house keeper to clean it. She barely touched it. Still had visible mold. Next day, house keeper came, cleaned the room. Still mold. Went to the front desk and they wanted to clean it off with bleach instead of replacing the moldy infected products. After asking 3 times, they finally gave me new products. The walls are paper thin. You can hear everyone passing by. Maintenance kept coming in to do “inspections” while we tried to get ready. Don’t recommend staying here. It looked cute in picture but everything is extremely worn out and not clean.

Great breakfast.

Great location with many dining options within walking distance. The room was a bit underwhelming, although I did like that it had its own patio and that I could access my room directly from the outside. I did see a small mouse in my room when I first entered (which I know would freak most people out). The pool was super packed and the bartender seemed overwhelmed, but that's not really surprising for a weekend afternoon. The restaurant was great, and the food was delicious. The front desk staff was very friendly. Overall, I would definitely be open to staying here again, but at the same time, the hotel did not blow me away like some of the other reviews hyped it up to be.

I will definitely stay at Humphreys again. The location is perfect. Walkable to restaurants and cafes. They gave us two free drink tickets. The pool was nice and it felt like an island get away. I would definitely like a water view room next time! Love the parrots and all the flowers.

This was our first trip to San Diego and I have nothing but great things to say! This hotel exceeded my expectations. We had a junior suite with a balcony. The bed was not the most comfortable to me, but my husband had no issues. The view was amazing, the pool was amazing, the pool bar was amazing! Sierra was on the ball! We definitely will stay here again. Till next time❤️

Staff were really welcoming. The hotel was located in an amazing location. It was clean, and the beds were one of the comfiest I’ve ever stayed in; in a hotel. Rooms were cosy and super spacious. Loads of parking which was a huge bonus, loved the pool area and how they put movies on outside every evening for children to enjoy. This was a really special touch as our daughter loved this. Loved this hotel and when I return to San Diego in the future I would definitely stay here again as we really felt we were staying in a calm oasis.

Staff was excellent

I haven’t commented on this hotel due to the fact that I would not return. The bar staff were friendly and helpful. Dated rooms, untidy and unclean stairways, not a great room / view for the price. I asked for a different room got given a room by the back of the stage after a party which was cleaned up. Staff on there were not very friendly. Overall not a great experience.

The grounds were beautiful and well maintained. Felt like a Polynesian village. Oasis pool bar was convenient and drinks were great along with available food. Nice discounts with Half Moon daily pass. Highly recommend!
