Things were overpriced and you can hear the train all night from where I was at

Fun for kids and clean!

Was required to use a card for "incidentals", even though incidentals are supposed to be covered by Engine as well.

The cleanliness of the hotel and rooms were amazing. The staff was very helpful, professional, welcoming, always ready to serve making the stay wonderful. Breakfast was absolutely delicious. The view from the balcony was breathtaking, refreshing and relaxing.

We loved our stay! We stayed there for three nights and it had everything that you could ask for. Nice pool area, a Starbucks inside the hotel, multiple stores where you could buy snacks and other items, a gym, good restaurant options and most importantly, the hotel was clean, and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. My only concern that I would call out is the parking situation but it’s very manageable. The parking is going to be at least a 5 minute walk from the main entrance/lobby but again it’s manageable. The hotel is about a 10 minute walk from Petco park and right next to the San Diego convention center. Would definitely stay in the hotel again.

Clean room, great pool

Great location & great room
-
The hotel is so beautiful. Great location and views. Access to everything around it. Although, the bed was not comfortable at all. We kept sinking in and woke up with pain. Also, the breakfast buffet is way over priced for the kind of food they have. $38 per person is ridiculously expensive.

Clean and comfortable room with a balcony overlooking the city skyline. Excellent accommodations for the family, i.e. room, pool, proximity to attractions, dining options. We were in the North tower facing the city, and so the only draw back was the incessant railroad crossing signals. Balcony door and window is not soundproof. Otherwise a very pleasant stay

Staff were friendly upon our arrival and room overall was clean. Only issue was a large wet spot on the floor where no one could explain how it came to be. We needed up placing towels to soak up as they offered large noisy fans for the day.

My family stayed 6 nights. We took our 6 year old son and he enjoyed the pool the most. The first night our room would not cool down and when I called to have it looked at someone came and fixed it right away even though it was 5am. We were very grateful for that. We a few times at the marketplace and the food was good and quick and met our needs. The hotel is in a great location downtown with a children’s park across the street and with seaport village near by there are tons of things to do with children. We also went to Padres game and were able to walk there in about 10 minutes. Overall we were happy with our stay and would come back in the future.

Great location. Many food options within walking distance.
-
Room was clean, and bay / marina views were amazing - staff was friendly and helpful - elevators were a nightmare , we sometimes had to wait upwards of 10-15 mins to get an elevator that wasn’t packed to the gills - and who shuts down two main elevators during peak weekends check out times for “maintenance” - other than that , it was a good solid hotel that was perfectly situated between Petco park and Gaslamp district.
-
We had a nice stay, however the hotel tried to re-route our reservation to another hotel at 5pm the day we were supposed to check in. They did however find a room for us. After that everything worked out.

Great!

Overall lovely stay at a great hotel. Walking distance to seaport village and downtown. It gets busy from business people, which can cause full elevators and even full parking. I think charging $45 for amenities daily plus $55 for daily parking is unreasonable. Especially when the main amenity is the pools and they are very overcrowded (and appear to have non guests, which I hate—hotel has wrist bands but no one checks and many people at pool didn’t have them on). Also, marina kitchen needs to serve non buffet breakfast. The buffet barely had food and it was $45 a person. Not reasonable or worth it. Also, one cocktail at the Lobby Lounge was $30!! That’s also unreasonable. Other than that, it’s a beautiful hotel and it was a great stay. Rooms are super spacious, comfy and clean. Beds are soft. Exchange downstairs is perfect for any food or drink needs. Staff was very lovely.

Our weekend getaway turned out really nice. The only thing that I would suggest is better pillows mattress. Overall, the hotel was beautiful.
